  1. Worth noting they used to be one of the clubs I quite liked.
  2. I don't see how anybody can like them as an entity. Like some of their players maybe, hell I like Mancini tbh. However Manchester City as a football club symbolise everything I hate about football.
  3. If anything we should have been fucking the first two off to keep the latter. No, though, just get rid of all 4!
  4. I think Ashley and Llambias are cunts. But, I wonder if they act this way because they view everybody in the entire business as cunts? We all know the owners, agents, journalists and the majority of players in this business are absolute pricks - so I wonder if these 2 don't feel the need to give anybody any form of respect or class but just crash around being cunts to everybody? I'd love to be a fly on the wall and see the way some of the people involved in the game go on behind close doors.
  5. Just burst out laughing and I've only read the thread title.

    Alan Pardew

    They're not real quotes man!
  7. I've seen the defenders that make the US squad, and it's not pretty, so I can't imagine how bad a guy who can't get near their squad is going to be in the Prem.
  8. In a similar situation, to whatever scale you earn at the minute, what would you do? would you fuck stay and stick it out. if your not appreciated for what you contribute, why would you stay. I'm not criticising Nolan in this instance, more commenting on the idea that giving Kevin Nolan a 5 year deal on the reported wages is a sign of 'ambition'. To me, getting rid of him and attempting to replace him with younger, more dynamic footballers is more of a sign of ambition. This has never been the problem with me, it's the fact I don't think we'll replace Barton and the fact we're happy to have fuck all squad depth that pisses me off.
  9. West Ham signing Nolan on a 5 year deal reeks of exactly the opposite of ambition to me.
  10. I like Aguero, Johnson, Dzeko, Balotelli too. They have lots of very good footballers who I liked a lot before they went there, which makes it even worse seeing them play for that lot
  11. Strange that Barton has unfollowed him on Twitter.
  12. Funny how McKay was saying at the start of this whole thing that the stumbling block was contract length, then here we see Barton join QPR on the same length contract we offered. Feck all to do with a payrise of course. Interesting point.
  13. Nowt wrong with it. What causes the double/triple posting? Dunno. Did you get a database error earlier? Couple of problems connecting, never got the error come up. Just Stu and Nixon keep triple/double posting.

  15. Dave for fuck's sake fix the forum!!
  16. Barton didn't look ambitous? Have a word. Going to QPR is not ambitious.
  17. Probably. Good, not great. Not really. I do find him interesting. Okay. Ok.

  19. The Sun has probably got that figure from your posts, though.
  20. In terms of overall contribution in terms of wages + fee to output he's still up there as one of our biggest wastes of money. Massively redeemed himself last season, but still not enough to justify the outlay.
  21. My thoughts exactly. The guy could kill babies and you'd still think his shit stunk of roses - though - such is your opinion of the man.
