Hutchinson is a right winger/attacking mid though not a striker. He was definitely their best player when they got promoted last year, but hasn't really done it this season when fit.
-
Udinese at home and likely already relegated Venezia the last two are bankers. I'd be absolutely amazed if Juve didn't finish top 6.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'd thoroughly recommend dipping into all levels. Tickets are generally cheap, you can usually buy them easily, stadiums are varied and the cities are usually nice to visit. In the north the trains are very good and make doing a bunch of games over a weekend achievable - not too dissimilar to Netherlands where I know you go quite often. I usually mix it up between going in the curva and the side. In the curva people just stand wherever so you can usually take a peripheral spot, but it can also be nice to get the full perspective of the curva from another vantagepoint. I'm going with my old man this time, so we'll be in the slightly posher seats resting his knees.

I'm going to Lecce Vs Napoli on Saturday, which is a big game for both ends of the table. Bari vs Pisa on Sunday too - Pisa might be up by then depending what happens on Thursday's games. Bari pushing for play offs.

He was signed as a wing back, but Conte abandoned his usual back 3 after about 4 games of the season and reverted to the 4-3-3 that Napoli usually play. Then they lost Kvara without a replacement in January and Neres to injury - so he's ended up there kind of by accident really.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to Tour Singapore

Was gasping for a domestic away but not too bothered about Celtic since I've been there. Annoying. -
He hasn't been that good this season really in terms of general play. But he does have a very good eye for stealing goals when played a bit further forward. I was never down on signing him personally. Definitely think he would have been a very good fourth midfielder to strengthen that area as would Gallagher have been who people were equally not convinced on. However he is not really the right age profile nor would he have been a game changing signing.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

That's not a exactly right though, because 4/5 could have finished on lower totals and still got 5th. 60, 66, 59, 63, 64 was the actual required totals. That puts the median required total a bit lower. However I'd say you are probably correct - I think the numbers of teams involved will push it to a higher overall total than usually expected. As is the fact that 5th is a CL place - this hasn't been the case previously. -

Away at Chelsea maybe - but we've won all three at home since Eddie took over. Even going back to the bad old days, we've actually got a pretty good record at home to them. Brighton away you're right - our record there is pretty awful. Hopefully we're due a result. -
Nonsense. Our odds to finish top five will have just improved.
-
I'd have taken a draw but honestly it's the best result when looked at coldly.
-
Snap your hand off for a draw right now
-
A better question would probably be whether a team has beat another one 5 or more times. I've checked the big CL match ups between English clubs and non of them seem to have happened. I thought Inter might have done it to Milan two seasons ago (home and away in CL semi, supercoppa and league) but Milan won the home league fixture.
-
Be loads of ones with League Cup semis I reckon. For example a quick check finds Man City 2013/14 beat West Ham 4 times (including 9-0 on agg in the League Cup). We also beat Southampton four times when we got to the final in 2022/23.

Howay man I know you dutchies can take things literally a lot but this taking the micky -
Really? I've been watching Spurs tonight and thinking it was one of the most half arsed and pathetic performances I've ever seen I kinda see why they wouldn't care given the context of the season, but it's pretty pathetic

Still wouldn't swap it -
2 in reality as they have an option to extend.

This Scottish Cup semi final is beyond grim. Celtic 4-0 up and a load of their fans leaving at half time. St Johnstone just scored a fantastic consolation goal and it's been disallowed for a ridiculously soft foul.

Chelsea be back ahead of us before we play Ipswich
-
Unfortunately I think we are going to be without him for the rest of the season more or less. It's the one thing that worries me about where we finish - I'd have been confident if Eddie was in the dugout.
-
Howay man, can you imagine the reaction if we'd made a load of changes bringing our crappy backup players in after winning 4-1 and 5-0. Unfortunately we don't really have that many options. Our biggest strength is our first XI and momentum - we just have to roll with that until we have more strength in depth. It will catch up with us, particularly when we play in quick succession and against a team with lots of options.
-
Howay man, we've won 4 of the last 5 against them. They're a good side and this can happen unfortunately.
-
It's felt like this could happen all game like. Really poor.
