Imagine if he doesn't get a work permit due to lack of senior caps

Membership is fine like. I quite like sitting in different parts of the ground as well.
-
Even if it's 1 per seat I'm sure a restructure would get more in like with safe standing. You just make the 'seats' smaller. Leg room varies massively ground to ground I find. Probably get another couple of thousand in that way.

I hope they close the option for ST holders buying extra tickets tbh. Straight to members sale only and then general sale should be the way to go.

Wijnaldum can fuck off, he's a twat.

The Saudi kit has a map of Newcastle on it in by the looks of it. Somebody on here called that a long time ago IIRC. -
We've built a solid base now but still really need better attacking options.

I don't really agree with FFP but from a fundamental point of preventing an unsustainable inflationary wage and fees spiral it does make some sense. Controlling infra spending makes no sense at all except for trying to limit competitiveness and establish a de facto cartel.
-
Need to start working on a legal challenge to this or start seriously fiddling the books in terms of infrastructure spending. This is a massive killer for our owner's long term project.
-
The sustainable way for any club to progress is to invest in facilities, infra and youth development. It's how you grow a club to make more money, establish a brand and become self sufficient in terms of player development. There should no no regulations of any of that because it's all good for football and the game. If a club overspends on those things or moves too quickly they will feel the pinch financially and it limits their competitiveness in the transfer market. It basically self regulates. Really feels like pulling up the draw bridge and basically saying nobody is allowed to progress at all.
-
Including infrastructure investment within FFP is absolutely obscene. I fail to see how that can be acceptable.

Ballots might be for away games? A certain % kept back for ballot each time. I think Boro do something like that.

It's all well and good saying we need a squad but if we sign a right winger that's 5 players we'd have for the wide areas + we're after a striker who can play there too like Ekitike. I'd say it would be very likely that a winger would then have to go from the squad - so probably one of Almiron or Murphy most realistically. I think Almiron is a better around player technically for sure but not sure he's much of an impact option off the bench at all.
-
I thought that too but I think the only got one against Saudi in 02. The other one I thought and checked was Muller but it was a brace he scored in 2010 against Australia.

Bale basically choosing a warm weather training camp ahead of Qatar.

Sarr wouldn't be as high profile or flash as some of the other right sided names mentioned and he always looks a little rough around the edges in terms of dribbling - but he's actually really solid at loads of things. Very strong runner and decent end product both in terms of crossing and through balls. Gets on the end of things and scores goals at the back post. To me he always seems like a player who still has room to grow and would step up at another club. Cornet I'm not really a fan of. Scored quite a few goals but he was basically played as a forward and I don't think his general play was very good. Seemed more like a bit of a random hot streak.
-
For less than 30 mill Sarr would be a really solid signing. But Watford paid about that for him.
-
I like Miggy but if we get a proper first choice right winger and there's a market for him I'd let him go. Probably last chance to get a fee. I actually think Murphy, for all his faults, is probably a better tactical option off the bench for a season.
-
Exsctly. You can also just imagine the serious people running our club dealing with this absolute random chancer asking for millions and thinking 'fuck this' mind too. I imagine that is the reason for the impasse.
-
Don't massively blame the agent in this scenario tbh. It's his main client and he's probably seeing himself set for life once this deal goes through. I think he'll relent eventually to a reasonable agreement.

Yet has won the treble more than any Milan player in history

Heard this lad is absolutely rapid.
