  2. Bill Clinton has such a friendly face.
  3. That's the point though, isn't it? He was completely under the radar until a year or two prior to that.
  4. First time Switzerland have made me feel anything, the feeling being "the Swiss are fucking cunts". You cost me a hundred and thirty quid you fucking Swiss flaps.
  5. She fit? Too old for you I think, she's at least 18 and she's got ID and everything. Soz.
  6. Brazil-Portugal draw, Ivory Coast -1, Spain, Switzerland - 12.5/1.
  7. Slovakia, because I've got them in the sweepstake. Also, this lass at work is Slovakian and she was genuinely delighted today - she never expected them to get through for a second.

  11. Agree. http://soccerlens.com/shirts/files/2009/04/newcastle_0910-home1.jpg Not a lot wrong with that.
  12. Soz. Muppet. I don't get how on Earth you could like him, if you do indeed actually like him. He's an absolute dickhead.
  13. Lawrenson is being a right bellend tonight, even by his high standards.
  14. He's been everywhere. Full Nelsen.
  15. Felt like quoting this for some reason...
  16. HT draw / FT Italy in-play on about 35 mins, plus Brazil: 2/1-ish.
  17. Steven Gerrard does not dive you cheeky American scamp.
  18. I think you have to fiddle with the points system a bit, no doubt about it. If you did something like 5 points for a win, 2 for a draw, 1 for a goal then it might do the trick. I get the feeling you'd have to test it for a season somewhere to ascertain what the actual effect would be. Using a system like that would mean you'd get more points for a 4-3 loss than a 0-0 draw, which doesn't really sit well but I can't think of anything other than giving points for goals. Unless you award a UEFA cup spot based on positive play or something, but it seems a bit naff.
  19. It's always lose/lose, the media are almost the entire problem with the England football team. The players play like they've got the weight of the world on their shoulders.
