This is the bit which worries me, if you think he has done absolutely nothing about our set pieces for nearly two years, it just doesn't bode well. I don't think he can change as he simply isn't good enough to. wot Our set pieces match, Pardew has done nothing about them at all. If he can't change them i can't see him changing his whole approach footbal in general. Set penises ftw, bimpy.

Villa score. We are fucked.

This has crossed my mind like, Villa and Wigan are in decent form.

Teams close him down more than in his 1st season and that has exposed his weakness with his ball control. Nothing to do with Pardew, though you could ask what are the coaching staff doing to help him with that? Remember the days when we think "Tiote is classy" when he did those moves during his first season? In fact he has been doing all these since his early days (and caught out a lot of times as well). Yes you could say Pardew failed to coach him not to do so, but to say Pardew instructed him to do that? Serious? I really don't understand what is going on here. Look at our last few appointments: Hughton, Shearer, JFK, KK (2nd Reign), Allardyce, Roeder, Souness. None of them suffer that lot negative comments here. Today it is Tiote's dwelling, yesterday it is Marveaux playing time, 3 months ago it is why he didn't issue ultimatum to Ashley for more players, 6 months ago was the long ball and hoof ball, one year ago it is HBA's tracking back and playing time. On and on and on. Oh yea to some people here spending 2m on Obertan is an unforgivable sin as well. Just sack him please. I have had enough of all these bullshits. Just sack him and hire another one, hopefully that one, no matter how shit he is like JFK / Souness, he probably won't be treated like this. Please just sack Pardew. Fucking hell, the "I just want Pardew sacked so the big bullies on N-O stop calling him names" campaign is gathering pace. I'm trying to dig up some quotes but haven't had much luck, I'm sure Pardew made comments about turning Tiote into the "complete midfielder" and if that's the case then it's not unfair to say that Pardew (in this instance) isn't very good at spotting his players' strengths and weaknesses, and instructing them accordingly. The way Tiote's game has changed since he joined us would appear to back this up, but no - it's another case of players ignoring instructions and doing their own thing.

Did Mathie do anything after that game? Think he just went home, got some kip before training the next day.

Manager still ain't at fault. This is the only thing going for him as NUFC manager this season and he's still not at fault for turning a lead into a big deficit in the quarter finals. And people who want shot of him have the agenda. Fucking hell.

How the fuck is that a job man? -
He was a waster and an embarrassment for the majority of his time at NUFC. One of the worst things for me was when he seemed to overplay his role in the promotion effort despite only playing a handful of games. The bloke is a prick. He then had a decent season in a team I was fond of, acted the prick again then left.

Will need to find the dole queue next season hopefully.
-
No explanation forthcoming.
-
You could see him creating the angle, was pretty sure he'd slot it in.
-
PSG well ahead on the balance of play here, should be 1 or 2 up.
-
It's terrible, try TV Catch Up.

His finish for QPR tonight was superb, his penalty wasn't. In 2 minds whether I'd take him in the summer given that he rejected us so recently. QPR are down.

Plus neither were ignored by the media where as some seem to think Di Canio is the first appointment that has ever been questioned like this. Woodgate had to field questions about racism in his first ever press conference ("I'm not racist, I'm black and white" ). It's absolutely no shock that his move to Swindon wasn't picked up all that much but a premiership club appointing him was obviously going to get more attention, here and from the looks of it international press. Fascism is something that isn't tolerated in this country, having an openly fascist manager taking over one of the top 20 teams in the country in one of the most influential leagues? It was always going to get attention. One thing about Di Canio is that the British press and the public in general held him in great affection when he was a player here. When he went back to Italy and started acting a nutter not so much, and I'd argue that the press thought him a harmless and entertaining sideshow when appointed as manager of a lower league team. And most of the public don't care much about anything below the Premier League. I think we'd have a bit of a fuss about the Fascist stuff no matter which Premier League club he joined, the Miliband stuff has raised the profile of it though. I'd personally be fuming if he was joining our club, but what can you say - when you're in the situation where your club might get relegated then some fans forget principles and what they'd probably point their fingers at other fans for, and go back to backing their club and unfortunately sometimes siding with unsavoury characters.

I don't think us signing Barton or Bowyer is by any means on the same level, but I can't say I was happy about us spending good money on thugs to wear the shirt. Think it's a different issue though.
-
As brummie says Miliband had no choice but to pack in his role on the mackems board as soon as heard about this, so not sure what people are on about there either.

This in inexplicably funny. CRonaldo couldn't be more weirded out. Why's he approaching the poor bloke at his car window in the first place then?
