Cole, Zhirkov, Bertrand and V.A all competing for one place at the moment. Arguably at the back of that Q n all. aint cole off to real?
-
dont see why chelsea would loan us him for him to sit on the bench
-
maybe we legally can't say a thing until the potential appeal is sorted

for the best until something happens which wont for another week or so

Rangers apparently. Urgh, what a waste. Well, good wage, lots of medals and european football. Not bad for an average prem player. I don't think Rangers could compete wages-wise to what he could earn at a mid/lower level Premiership club, or even a top end Championship club. Mind you challenging for trophies and a couple of European games each season is a pull I suppose. They got the the UEFA cup final not long ago remember, they aren't completely useless in Europe I mean Rangers would be willing to pay a bit more for him wage-wise as he would be one of the better players in the team. Rather than just a squad player. rangers are broke all the half decent players are bailing out of scotland and their league will continue to go backward, i'd question the ambition of any player who thinks moving to scotland is a good career move

basically fifa are thick fuckers

:omg:

no way can we afford hernandez
-
lets see how he does in pre season before judging him, i doubt we'll get many takers for him so if he can play some part and wants to prove himself then by all means let him show it, i do think he has some talent but its the will i doubt
-
spain is understandable enough, alonso did get a karate kick to the chest after all and no red the dutch however should be thanking webb for not sending off half their side
-
could yet play a part according to hughton http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2010/07/13/xisco-back-in-contention-for-newcastle-united-72703-26841383/

if the harper to celtic story is true then james is a logical transfer for experience alone, neither krul or forster have any and im not sure id trust them yet tbh
-
Tell him that Gosling and U-turned and signed for 5 years at Goodison then ask him again. Then he still wouldn't be able to beat a man. Average, basically. More regular football though can only be a good thing for him so from a footballing perspective it's a good move for him and in that sense I wish him the best of luck. On one hand you can laugh about the pretty incompetent nature from the club of relying on "his word" to sign the contract, but on the other many a fan will be pretty pissed off with someone who gave every indication he would be committed to signing it, and turning his back so readily on the club who gave him his break at a high level and gave so much time and effort to help with this serious injury. Stinks of agent persuasion. i do understand your annoyance at him but i would be worried more about the fact they didn't offer a contract before the deadline which imo is a rather large blunder on any clubs part

i'd look at the positive side and the fact we are willing to spend cash if needs be to get our man
-
depends on the species i've read, up to 5 years i think is the most
-
bullards loan move to celtic off due to "ridiculous financial demands from the player" according to adam pearson who sounds rather bitter about it
-
hes retiring from predictions
-
they got add on incentives too that went up to 6.5m 500k after 10, 20, 30 and 40 league appearances 1m if he gets an international cap and 15% sell on clause so they got 6.5 out of 7m
-
Where was this man? I'm with Cajun, can't see any compensation amount rising to that much. I'm not sure of the exact rules but I thought this compensation malarky applied when a player was raised and trained at that club. Everton signed him from Plymouth. Perhaps I'm wrong though. city got a large amount (3.5m up front more later) for sturridge in a tribunal so its not unusual
-
maybe 3 if hughton goes 4-5-1
-
i think its a negativity habit tbh
-
roughly a season and a half iirc, he came into the side i think under sven ousting kasper schemicheal and was no 1 until given arrived
-
Honestly man, what does it matter? I prefer to judge signings based on their ability rather than the amount of interest they stir from other clubs - just because we didn't have to scuffle with Everton to get him doesn't mean that he's automatically shit. well technically there was a scuffle with everton, just not the club involved
