  1. i do not like this dutch team and hope they crash and burn in the final
  2. stunning goal alright come on forlan produce some magic
  3. I don't know if that's them or us.... we don't have star players to lose anymore
  4. saylors apparently off to liverpool according to the express with sources close to him quoting "lack of ambition" and "lack of backing" over the carroll incident http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/185208/Stephen-Taylor-s-looking-to-Liverpool-/?
  5. More of a central/attacking midfielder I think, although I'm not completelty sure. He can probably play wide aswell. left winger according to fm but can play across midfield
  6. cleverly apparently going to join on loan today http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Newcastle-want-to-take-Tom-Cleverley-from-Manchester-United-on-a-season-long-loan-article516005.html
  7. basically the chron knows nothing so makes stuff up
  8. i think so You Tube says no. dunno just watched a goal of his vs psg and its excellent
  9. Why? Potential rule changes and requirements regarding the nationality of players. Plus, I'd rather we bought a player from a non-league team south of the border than take a punt on someone from the SPL. I cannot remember many players from north of the border who have made the transition from Mickey Mouse to proper league (excluding those that started their careers in England). no 1 the new rules don't consider nationality (and any possible future rules can't do that under eu law) no 2 we're more than stocked in appropriate players to meet the requirements

perhaps back up to routiledge (in a sense) in a right midfield role

Not meant as a racist comment at all but Houghton seems to prefer players that have the same skin tone as him, Routledge, Simpson, Best and now Perch. Surely this can only mean one thing? http://i.thisislondon.co.uk/i/pix/galleries/news/robsonmemorial/Chris-Hughton-arr.jpg http://i.thisislondon.co.uk/i/pix/2010/01/routledge415.jpg http://images.football.co.uk/Dynamic/Group/Source/840fe49d76645b34d93986fb55a12e91.jpg http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Derby+County+v+Newcastle+United+l2raSTCJSugl.jpg http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/incoming/article101421.ece/ALTERNATES/gallery-large/James+Perch.jpg ... http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01069/fabiano_1069137a.jpg

Eh? press had nothing on it this time only the itk on the forest board (who is actually itk) anyway decent signing and useful squad player
  14. answer no club in the prem wanted him or showed much interest and all said interest was a fabrication by the press
  15. useful squad player tbh he can play in a few positions and another body so all good. plus it could keep raylor away from rb
  16. that and hes english which means his ability gets hyped up another notch and apparently journos don't read the new squad regulations or they'd realise nationality doesnt come into play on the homegrown rule and every single club in the prem qualifies as it stands iirc
  17. brian mcnallys job must be so easy every few weeks just write the same article but change the name of the club and manager. he's linking taylor this week with liverpool same old shit out of contract blah blah blah english and quota blah blah blah http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/clubs/premier-league/Transfer-news-Roy-Hodgson-wants-Newcastle-s-Steven-Taylor-at-Liverpool-article512831.html in other news krul and carroll are allegedly going to sign new deals according to notw (and mirror for krul) http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/865352/CARROLL-AGREES-NEW-NEWCASTLE-DEAL.html and we apparently want lee naylor on a free http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/865640/TOON-AND-BOLTON-IN-FOR-NAYLOR.html
  18. spain need to up their game dramatically if they want to beat the germans because if they play like this the germans will rip them to shreds and no more Larissa Riquelme.
  19. just saw the para pen again half the spain team was in the box now that is poor by the ref
  20. there was encroachment for the 1st spain pen so by the letter of the law he is correct.
