  1. Chelsea winning is best for us. It gives a better, albeit only slightly better, chance of being seeded in the waffa next season, plus it significantly weakens one of our direct rivals (hopefully) for next season. Spurs' spending power matters much more on the Champions League than Chelsea who will spend regardless (in fact missing out on the CL would probably only spur them on to spend more). Ergo, it's an easy choice to make tonight. Howay Chelsea.
  2. Chelsea @ 4/1 - £8.50 Chelsea/Blackpool/Hearts treble - £1.50 Frank Lampard to score anytime & Frankel To Win The Lockinge Stakes @ 6/1 - £5
  3. That's fucking crazy. Was this system imagined up in response to River going down? Can vaguely remember talk about them messing about to try and change things in their favour when they dropped.
  4. So is it in the realms of possibility that they could finish the season both champions and relegated?

  6. I got the Fizzy Pop one from LoveFilm a couple weeks back, watched it the night before the City game, great to see how far we've come in such a short period. Think I'll try and buy that too actually, was a brilliant watch.
  7. Chelsea to lift trophy @ 2/1 £10.00 Single Blackpool to be promoted @ 6/4 Hearts @ 11/10 Chelsea to lift trophy @ 2/1 Trebles, 1 bet * £2.00 Blackpool to be promoted @ 6/4 Frankel @ 2/7 Hearts to lift trophy @ 4/7 Trebles, 1 bet * £3.00 Will stick a few more on tomorrow.
  8. You can't really complain for a tenner, think I'll grab last season's too.

  10. 1/3? Fuck that. He's the greatest horse of all time. 1/3 is a good price. How much you putting on like? I'd probably only be prepared to stick £20/£30 on it, so not really worth it. Think I'll stick to Football tomorrow, especially with it being essentially the last day of the season.
  11. No chance he'll move abroad man, his stables are his priority now. Saw a tip in the paper today, Owen to Wigan at 20/1, could definitely see that being a possibility.
  12. Not a chance of that happening. The only way to accommodate those 4 plus the strikers would be a 4-4-2 with Cabaye sitting back to help Tiote, obviously that's not ideal as I think we all want to see Cabaye in a more attacking position next season.
  13. Didn't realise Holt was 31 like, sort of assumed with all the England talk he would be mid twenties, is anyone really going to give him much more than he currently earning considering his age? Although I could definitely see O'Neill being interested in him.
  14. Withdrawn what I had left in my accounts like. I think the great N-O race horse betting boom might be coming to an end. It's been emotional. Fuck that. I've found a new vice. Can guarantee that in a few days, when it really has completely drained everyone, I'll still be in this thread, posting over and over, to myself, for no one's interest but mine. Kind of like my FM 11 rants in the games section last year. Well, if Villa get their arses into gear and announce Solskjaer it'll be full steam ahead until I've drained those profits.
  15. Aye, would've thought that would've been the most sensible idea. Although saying that, Cabaye and Hatem probably won't feature much due to just getting back from the Euros.
