Us. $20m too, that is a lot of money for him unless it's in Pesos which I doubt. Good player but I don't think he is worth that much. Also buying a midfielder direct from the Arg league is risky due to the totally different styles of game. Tin of beans opener of a left foot on him though. Our press say he's going to Málaga, deal to be sealed on Monday. They have also completed the Toulalan transfer (who I don't really rate that much, but still), for €8m rising to €10m.

We are linked with Griezmann from Real Sociedad. Nice little player, deserves better that warming our bench imho.
-
To be frank your board seems to be moving smartly. Lots of signings from the French league, which is a great place to look for value for money. Ba and Marveaux on frees aren't that much of a risk if the wages aren't outlandish, and there's a nice upwards potential.

Pochettino has extended his contract with Espanyol. Very decent manager, deserves a shot at a better club. Love the photo, looks like he's running for president: http://estaticos.marca.com/imagenes/2011/06/16/futbol/equipos/espanyol/1308224906_extras_mosaico_noticia_1_g_0.jpg

Mathijsen from Hamburg to Málaga, €1m. A great signing just by the fact that it's another player preventing Demichelis from taking the pitch.
-
Crazy that. I bet the FA would have been kicking off at UEFA if say, Stade de France, was given it 2 out of 3 years and they'd been bidding for the 1013 one. Middle ages finals ftw. f***ing diving Normands.

We met with Udinese this tuesday, and nothing has emerged. I'm not that optimistic, especially if ManCity are involved.
-
Always wonder why Barca have had a small squad for the the last couple of years. Perhaps the youngsters in the B team are that good, eh? Guardiola is a fan of small squads, has said that often. But this season we started with just 19 (!) seniors.
-
Almost cost us the season, the players were badly drained around April-May.
-
He would rotate with Pedro/Villa/Messi. We badly need another good striker to give them rest or just being able to throw somebody scary when one goes through a dip of form.
-
Rossi would fit us like a glove, so I won't complain either way.
-
I haven't seen enough of Sánchez, but he seems more different to Villa/Pedro than Rossi, which would give us a different option, somebody that can run at defences so we don't rely only on Messi to produce that kind of thing.
-
Their asking price is reportedly €30m, so we aren't that far apart.
-
"Sport" claiming we have had a €17m rising to €27m bid for Rossi turned down by Villarreal.
-
2-0 against Czech Republic, much better on the final third this time. Just need a draw against Ukraine now.
-
I'm too lazy to check the back pages. What's the fee?
-
They have lots of interests in Spain, they own Granada CF and a (very small) stake in Espanyol. Barça sources confirmed today that we are still talking to Udinese regarding Alexis, though.
-
Neymar's agent has just denied it. And yes, I suppose it would be the end of Benzema if it came to pass.
-
Rumor going round that Neymar is about to sign for Real Madrid for €40m
-
It's owned by the Udinese owner. They've shot through the divisions since he took over (fueled by loans like these).
-
This, I would not even include Thiago in the deal, that would make it a £42m transfer, that would have been a bullshit deal which i never believe Barca would agree on. Oh, we have agreed to a lot of bullshit deals in the past.
-
Monreal to Málaga for €6m. Done deal and great buy.
-
Chelsea's squad was absolutely bloated towards the end of his reign.
-
I think they did it to drive down the prices. €45m don't take you to many places nowadays. That said, this amount was already known for a while since it was in our financial stabilization plan. We've been linked with a leftback (José Enrique/José Ángel), Cesc, Rossi and Alexis Sánchez.

Bojan heavily linked with Roma to play under Luís Enrique. His agent has commented favorably on a possible move there.
