Pretty shitty that Amorebieta can't play for them because of 4 U19 apps.
-
"As" saying that Spurs have outbid Roma for Bojan Krkic, although the player will probably turn them down.

Barcelona's brand new major has been caught on video saying that being an Espanyol or Real Madrid fan is "a disgrace" (he has apologised)

Yes, he isn't an out-and-out striker although his strike rate at Espanyol has been pretty good (he is their only credible attacking threat, though). He's a very nice player, but possibly not what you need.

Seems Espanyol are readying themselves to sell Osvaldo. Get in. Linked clubs include Spurs, Atlético, Sevilla, Juventus, although no offers are on the table yet.
-
Seems we are dismantling our B side: Víctor Sánchez, Edu Oriol, Abraham, Soriano, Nolito, Etock, Dos Santos plus Thiago all set to leave or already left the team. None of those (excepting Thiago) are good enough for the senior side but we might actually struggle next year in the Liga Adelante while we bed in the next wave of youngsters.

Cesc not going to show up at Arsenal's preseason training, according to our press. And Toral is worth €5m alone.
-
Rumor going round that an American consortium will bid around €100m for Atlético de Madrid. These guys need new owners like the air I breathe.
-
Reminds me of how we topped the charts in the mid-90s with all our sterling performances in major tournaments.
-
Would you be for selling Villa if it meant getting both Rossi and Sanchez? Yes. Mostly because of the age of Rossi vs Villa, who I think is still the better player at this point, but doesn't have that many seasons on him. Anyway, today's rumors in our press is that we have made a €35m+addons bid for Cesc that Arsenal finds acceptable (they haven't downright accepted it), and that we are close to an agreement of €27m rising to €40m for Alexis Sánchez.
-
We have just extended Thiago's contract, which I guess puts to bed all the rumours of us selling him. Good.
-
According to "El Mundo Deportivo" we have turned down a €30m bid from Chelsea for David Villa.
-
We are looking at spending a few pence for the defender, like €3-4m for José Ángel or Botía. We have €45m for transfer kitty+ €12m for Bojan + €8-10m for Jeffren (according to valuations in the press) would leave €30-35m for each of Cesc/Sánchez.
-
What's the plan if ye buy him like? Push Iniesta further upfield, maybe out left? Cesc will rotate Xavi, who has had muscle fatigue problems throughout the season and can't start 50 games a season like he's been doing for the past 5 years. They will of course play together too some times, with Iniesta being rested or pushed out wide (thus giving rest to one of the forwards). He opens up a lot of rotating options which we haven't had so far.
-
Seems we are in talks for Cesc. According to our press we are offering €30m and the are asking for €39m. Looks like it will happen this time.
-
Nah, Ferguson has nailed it. ManU have a keeper for the next decade.
-
He's almost two meters tall anyway, what were they thinking?
-
Still can't picture River getting relegated. The riots sadly I can picture.
-
stats are s*** We were linked with Modric these past two seasons, although never too strongly. I agree but can't see it happening.

That's the problem with Thiago at the moment, he always goes for the Hollywood pass/dribble which means he gets caught in possession quite often, which is very bad for our game. He can pull it off against kids in the U21 tournament or La Liga second tier, but can see world class DMs having a laugh. He has the ability, mind, but he is still very raw and needs to be patient.
-
Why bother with Fabregas when you've got Thiago in your ranks? He'll turn out better than Fabregas. Different players. Thiago is more of an AMC, Fábregas would fill in for Xavi. Also, despite his undoubted quality, I'm afraid Thiago won't make it with us. He strikes me as very impatient and will want a move if he isn't starting regularly at the end of next season, which won't happen. Cesc is attacking mid, plays centrally of the 3AM behind Van Persie and in front of the the 2DM. Good enough to play in xavi role but you'd be sacrificing a huge part of his game. I know, but I'm pretty confident he could take a few steps back on the pitch and fill that role. Plus it's not like Xavi doesn't get near the box, Cesc can still exploit his final ball.

Milito is finished and Garay barely remembers the color of a football pitch, yet they make the squad. Figures.
-
Their midfield is quite decent too, so just go 0-4-6 imho.
