If we, in some strange alternate universe, were to come up against Barca, I'd expect us to do everything possible to stop them from playing their game. It ain't nice, but it's football. He's nowhere near as bad as some on here make out, Simpson seems to be an easy target and he gets jumped on for the slightest thing. Aye. When we happen to lose, he is one of the first to be made into a scapegoat (see the Arsenal game). Now we're on a good run of form the general consensus is that he's a reasonable enough full-back. Obviously, we'd need to look to replace if we want to eventually aim for top 4, but he's done a good job for us this season.

So do Liverpool yet their away support is s****. if liverpool had won the league as many times recently i'd bet their away support would be as good, as would ours, sunderlands, leeds etc etc etc. When Arsenal and Chelsea were on top their away support was still shite. It ain't all down to success, although it does obviously play a role. We've had absolutely nee success but we probably have the 2nd best away support in the country
