What German team do you support? Assuming you support one. I'm a bit fan of Augsburg (because that's the locally closest club of the first two leagues to me) and I've started fancying Hamburg a bit the time Van der Vaart played for them. Still like them and they're probably my favourite team in the Bundesliga. But I'm not supporting any team really like I do with Newcastle. I see Augsburg could be going up this season, cool beans. They currently aren't a particularly large club in terms of fanbase/finances. I certainly wouldn't be surprised or particularly bothered if they went down in the next few years. Doubt any club outside Liverpool would go out of their way to mock their demise. You are off your tits if you think Everton aren't a "big club". They may well be a big club historically. My argument is that I wouldn't be surprised if they went down in the near future and certainly wouldn't wallow in their relegation, as the country seemingly did with us.
