  1. incredible tbh. Maradona must have gave Dunga some of his gear.
  2. Would like him to start but its unlikely. As long as Green starts before James.
  3. Sporting Gijon - Pointless, tiny club
  4. Would be incredibly embarressing to loan players from the Championship :-[
  5. Ketsbaia, Ginola.......some others. Edit: Acuna...I'm getting there.
  6. In a 4-5-1 they could both play in their preferred role
  7. Would be quite a large step back for Sparky, from Man City to West ham.
  8. Would much rather start Crouch than Heskey, although I'm not too big a fan of that lanky bugger either. Truthfully, I'd be looking to play a 4-5-1 with Wazza upfront alone. Capello, admittedly, has considerably greater managerial experience than myself, so I suppose I'll have to trust him.
  9. Looking at that list, barring injury, I can't see Capello picking him ahead of Rooney, Heskey, Defore and Crouch. Should take 5 imo. Or remove Heskey as he is utterly s****. are you looking for a bite? Him and Rooney are fantastic together. Nay,I simply find it hard to believe that someone that struggles to get in the Villa squad, is likely to be leading the line for us at the World Cup. Him and Rooney may work well together in the qualifying stages, but when it comes to the last 16, imo Heskey will be a massive liability.
  10. Would you take 3 keepers? I wouldn't, I know its a risk, but i dont think its that big a risk. Do you not have to?
  11. Switch Carragher with King and that is pretty much who I would leave out. Do realise however that Heskey will somehow manage to cling onto his place.
  12. Looking at that list, barring injury, I can't see Capello picking him ahead of Rooney, Heskey, Defore and Crouch. Should take 5 imo. Or remove Heskey as he is utterly shite.
  13. Bent in, hopefully stays in Parker really shouldn't be in the final squad.
  14. Gold and Sullivan are horrible little critters.
  15. Gomes is beginning to after his nightmare start to his Tottenham career.
  16. Did they? He hasn't exactly been great in Serie A anyway. He is an old gadge now. He certainly silenced his critics after WC 98.
  17. He's never been in any Spanish squad before. But he indeed was heavily hinted to be in it this time around. So was Pedro. Cazorla and De Gea and maybe Jímenez and Martínez are the only real surprises I'd say, although all have had very good seasons. Valdes has never been in a sqaud? Sweet moses, I was not aware of that.
  18. Valdes is a surprise? I assumed Casillas, Pepe and he would be the 3 keepers. I know he hasn't had a cap n'all, but imagined he would be a squad player.
  19. How is that lucky? They were 2 nil down, won 3-2 perhaps.
  20. Would hopefully reduce the gap between Barca/Madrid and others, although I'm not sure how exactly
  21. I voted 2 when of the belief that we would strengthen 3 or 4 key areas. Now this doesn't seem to be the case I feel all so naive and silly
  22. Look North are reporting it as we have no money to spend
  23. Caulkin always succeeds in demonstrating the majority of supporter's feelings in such an eloquent manner. I like the man
  24. As someone who takes absolutely no interest in club finances, I find it hard to believe that a club that will almost certainly have an average attendance of 45000+ next season, has to sell before we buy. Will someone please explain in Layman's terms, why teams like Wolves, West Brom, will most likely be spending more then they receive, yet we can't. I realise we are in debt and such but was of the opinion that the majority of teams are.
