From what i've seen myself this season (which is admittedly limited), and from his time here, this statement is clearly not true.

I never realised just how shite our defensive is, like I know if was bad but not this bad, here are so lovely stats for the season: Goals Conceded: 29 (20th in the league, 19th is Norwich with 27) XG Conceded: 25.4 (20th in the league, 19th is Norwich with 22.6) Penalties conceded: 5 (1st in the league, 2 more then 2nd) Goals Conceded: 2.2 (20th in league, Norwich in 19th with 2.1) Clean Sheets: 0 (Joint worst with Watford) Yellow cards: 35 (1st in the league, 2 more then 2nd) Howe has a hell of a job on his hands.

Commentator commented how he (who i'm assuming is in the ground) loses the ball regularly for a split second.

Watford have been laughs since Ranieri came in. 6 games, 11 scored, 14 conceded

Watching the start of the Norwich vs Wolves, I feel we could beat them if we play like we did against Brentford, been a few times Wolves have been able to get into space in the Norwich 3rd by a simple turn of a man.

I think for the most part the tactical plan worked btw, it was to not concede early and to be more expansive as the game goes on, its just the issue is the players can't seem to switch there mindset and mentality midgame, and get stuck in the defensive rut, that Bruce has so lovely instilled over the last 3 years. We just have a team of people who are very slow to react, at this level, and pretty much 80% of them are Championship quality.

Also we could/ should have had 3 penalties, that ref was fucking atrocious, he gave everything he could to them, and nothing to us.

That was wank, that was pretty much straight from a Bruce style performance, I don't get why the players where so static, it has to be a mentality thing with the players. We where pretty class last week in attack, and today we didnt look like we could string 2 passes together. Feels like a hangover from the Ashley era. Given he's been in a hotel all week, happy to give how the benefit of the doubt, but that was a tough watch. Think it just boils down the the players in defense and central midfield just not being good enough.

I put alot of our organization down to Dubs, he's class at sorting out the shape of the defense.

Half time probably came at a decent time for us, they where just starting to make there possession count, but for the most part we've defended well enough, and been organized, even if it hasn't been pretty. Its the perfect platform to take the game to them in the second half.
