It is ridiculous, I can't remember seeing a league that tight before, for Truro, even a win may not do it if Torquay batter Hemel Hempstead, who have nothing to play for and are on the beach, and I'm not sure if playing St Alban's is good or not, as they have to come out and try and play, given their situation, which could work to Truro's benefit. Either way, it's been a mammoth season for the club, it's the first season back in Truro in their new Stadium, and most projections had them mid-table at best, so to be in with a shot of winning the title is an outstanding achievement.

In fairness, they have dropped like a stone recently, and are now out of play-off contention, and by all accounts need a massive rebuild, so they probably want a younger manager to do that.

The managerial equivalent of "Too good for the Championship, too poor for the Premier League" I actually think given how defensively resolute they've been this season, they'll make a better fist if staying up next season than they did under Kompany.

Mowbray sacked by West Brom.

The National League South is genuinely insane. Going to have to go along to Truros final game on Saturday. Edit: Or not, it's all sold out already

If the play-off places stay as the are, theres the potential of a Sunderland Vs. Middlesbrough playoff final.

I feel like you can tell that this Stoke side are now safe and as such are relaxed

Looks like the 2 horse race for Automatics in League 1 is turning into a 3 horse race, with Charlton currently beating Wycombe.

Disappointing game, basically all the players put in stinkers. I'm already over it to be honest, sometimes you put your hands up and say they where the better team on the day and deserved to win, and we can have no complaints. We've been on a great run, and if you offered me last 6 points and a +6 goal difference swing from the last 3 games i'd have taken it. I'm intrigued to see what the reaction is from the fanbase given this is the first loss since Wembley One thing this does show is our lack of squad depth, that cost us today, they where noticeably sharper and fresher than us, as they had rested players playing.

We won at their place last season like, and beaten then 3 out of 4 times before this.

Who the fuck boo's Matt Targett?
-
Well, atleast its still level as it doesn't deserve to be. This game is where our lack of depth is catching up with us, they made multiple quality changes from mid-week, and they look more fresh and on it, whereas we look leggy. Would take Schar off, as he's been run ragged by Watkins.

Can't imagine how awful this season has been for Southampton, imagine your crowning achievement come April being that you've avoided being the worst ever top flight club

Pedro seems like he has a real violent streak when things aren't going his way. Ironically it was against Brentford he should have been sent off against for wildly swinging an elbow at an Yarmolyuk off the ball.
