  1. He sold Holdsworth for 3.5M actually.
  2. This is absolutely sensational, lads, top work.
  3. After this, I'm glad only one of them is in the Championship next year
  4. Watford have got a transfer embargo which will last till the end of the transfer window. Not sure it will affect things much though. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21829894
  5. Knockaert's last-min goal against Forest pushed us out of the playoffs. This is karma.
  6. It's 2-2 This is batshit insane. The Championship, man
  7. If we can't beat a team managed by Paul Ince, we don't deserve to get in the playoffs
  8. You guys are signing Trent Sainsbury from Central Coast, he looks the goods I think. Popovic has probably told Freedman about him. Strong, quick ball playing centre back. Excellent. It appears we have a scouting system at last! Didn't Jedinak come from Central Coast too?
  9. Spearing has been really good for us actually.
  10. That was a bit silly from Leon Best
  11. I think Blackburn will stay up by the skin of their teeth. Then again, that would probably prolong the Venky's shambles, so perhaps relegation again would be a blessing in disguise? As amusing as their plight is, I don't particularly want to see them go down. Wolves were shocking today, could have been 7 or 8 if it wasn't for De Vries. Don't rate Saunders at all as a manager.
  12. Freedman (and Lennie Lawrence) has really turned it round for us, though our away form is still poor. Need to improve that if we're getting in the playoffs. Similarly, Holloway seems to be undoing Freedman's work at Palace.
  13. As bad as Stoke are doing, they will drop like a stone if Pulis leaves.
  14. He will ask and will get one, I'm sure. Certainly deserves one.
  15. Five wins in a row! Potentially good end to a season which looked like it was fading to nothing...

We've been shit for a while now, and Sunderland at home quite frankly isn't the most inspiring tie ever. Guess everyone was just indifferent.

We should have been out of sight by half-time, they were dreadful. Improved massively in the second half, but once again we let a lead slip. Story of our season. Only 12K there today, of which 5K were Sunderland fans. Shocking really, though I'm not surprised.
  18. Sammy Lee was in charge of the Academy and is/was joint caretaker-manager with Jimmy Phillips. Perfectly happy for him to continue in the coaching structure.
  19. Like? I hope he does well for you. Souness, Billy Davies, and Roy Keane to name a few
  20. It's quite risky, but preferable to the other failures that were linked.
  21. Dougie Freedman to Bolton. Yes, he's our new manager, but he's only 38 - get him up top with Kevin Davies!
