This is totally me as well. I'm literally clinging onto that bit hope that this whole thing gets sorted, it's a last resort for me. I dont watch football hardly anymore because of what has happened to us with this takeover. I watch us out of habit but just cannot be arsed to watch anything else. If it does eventually all go tits up, that is me out. What on earth is the point in supporting a team in a league where you're not allowed to compete with the big lads. In fact you are stopped from doing so. That's not football.

Any attacking player with half a brain would want to leave us. Who the fuck wants to play under Steve 30% possession Bruce?

They absolutely hate Parkinson like.

Aye completely absurd to go after Pochettino to replace Steve Bruce. What a silly idea man.

Thought this post would have created more of a frenzy. This lad doesn’t get a team selection wrong does he ? I think it's just indicative of how lethargic everyone is about the whole thing. I'm not sure many people have the energy left to get excited about rumours. People are just sick of hearing things that could mean something only for it to end up meaning absolutely nothing. 7 months of that and now people hardly take any notice.

This is the bit that pissed me off the most. Peter: No - I want to see us play positive, exciting football. I'd love to finish in the top six but Steve Bruce will never achieve that. Chris Sutton: You think you would have with Rafa Benitez? Peter: If Rafa Benitez had had the backing that Steve Bruce has had, then yes I do. Chris Sutton: Oh don't be ridiculous. What sort of answer is that like? How on earth is it ridiculous to suggest that Rafa could take us higher up the table than he did, possibly top 6, if he'd had the backing Bruce has had? Look at Leicester, Wolves, Sheff Utd (last season). Why is it so ridiculous to suggest Rafa could challenge for top 6 with decent backing. It's as if pundits are saying "shut up and know your place". And if Sutton was talking about exciting positive football rather than finishing top 6, then the same arguement applies. Rafa has this myth that follows him that he plays shite football. Yes, we did at times but that was solely because of the tools he had at his disposal. I'm sure I seen some stats on here from his times at Liverpool, Real Madrid, Valencia and Napoli that totally disproved this arguement that he plays negative football. So why couldn't he have done it here if he had the backing Bruce has had.

Just sums up the difference between a class manager in Rafa and the fucking clueless dinosaur that we have now in Bruce. Lets not forget here though, we can hammer Bruce as much as we want, but the bottom line is Mike Ashley decided to employ this fucking idiot. He was the one that made Rafa walk away and then thought employing Steve Bruce was a good idea. Once again, the buck stops with Ashley. We could have got rid of Ashley if the PL officials hadn't decided looking after Liverpool and Man U's interests were paramount. So the buck stops with them far as I'm concerned. That's a good point as well.
