  1. Who knows who is funding it exactly? It supposed to be the fans, but is it really?
  2. He's been utterly raging about this takeover since the beginning and the reason for that is because he has no sources linked to the consortium. So like a spoilt little brat, he's going on the way he is/has done since april. I mean, who on earth goes on like he does?
  3. Aye. I don't pay much attention either way, although if we do indeed hear something this week, he's earned the benefit of the doubt really. Here's hoping. He might be genuine but I just cant allow myself to become excited over something someone claims on a football forum. Hopefully he's right, but I'll reserve judgement for now. Wooo. Big statement there by Mimms. Let's see how the week develops. If true, legendary status for you Mimms. So, for me to start accepting Mimms as ITK we need a statement and positive news this week. I suppose the statement itself could be a positive 1. Neck on the line time Mimms. Mimms.
  4. No one is attacking him but merely questioning him. Surely people have a right to do that?

  7. A part of me has this horrific feeling Mimms is just some mackem windup who got lucky predicting the last statement.
  8. I utterly hope you are right but I refuse to get excited. I cant take the heartache.
  9. Bruce, the luckiest manager, EVER!
  10. Darlow showing everyone the crap keeper he is.
  11. Hendrick is the 2020 version of us signing Jack Colback on a free from sun'lun. He's a complete Ashley signing.
  12. This makes it nailed on for me like. HighTower Finance, isn't this just a company vehicle for the development they are going ahead with in Newcastle, that is a tall building? I've got no idea, I was only kidding about the nailed on.

    Sunderland

Funny as fuck that these just lost 3-1 at home and absolutely no one gives a fuck.
  14. There's a few people mentioning it in the Bruce thread. Apparently it was on SSN earlier this afternoon. I've not seen it mind.
  15. Same old shite from Sky pundits. Ignore them.
  16. Wonder why he decided to step down now in respect of QPR when it's all quiet and not 6 months ago when it was everywhere?
  17. Just prepare yourself for this to mean absolutely nothing just like all the other things we thought meant something positive for the takeover and ended up being nowt.
  18. My theory is the PL are dragging it out as long as possible in hope it still goes away. They don’t want to approve it. It’ll get to xmas and near the window, we’ll be hanging around the bottom and with no sight of any movement from the PL the buyers finally call time. Ashley will sue the PL in 2021 and win, but they’d rather go through that and lose money than upset so many other parties. That’s possible and obviously our worse case scenario. We have to hope a potential legal settlement of 300 million plus is what pushes it over the line. This was Liam Kennedy’s take on a certain someone’s show last night. He said: “I wish I could tell everybody everything I know, but you can’t do that in these situations. “Things are ticking away. The legal cogs are turning, and things are happening. “That doesn’t mean we are all going to get the result that we want at the end, but it’s a positive in itself that everybody is still at the table. “Everybody [who] is part of the consortium, the legal team [and] other legal bodies [are there]. “Everybody is there, and they’re talking; the Premier League, Newcastle United, and Mike Ashley [and] Justin Barnes. “Everybody is there, and things are moving; I want to give more, but I can’t, unfortunately.” When he says we might not get the result we want at the end, I honestly think he was talking about them being forced to reject it. That obviously is not the result we'd want but at least it would be open to appeal. Not sure we have to remember that the club has effectively declared the bid rejected on constructive grounds. An official rejection then.
