So, without reading the article from the Athletic this morning, is it fair to say that although its still expected to be completed, it's still miles away from a conclusion?

We haven't had a Sheff Utd's Saudi owner casts doubts over NUFC takeover. Or how 10 other PL clubs to ask PL to block takeover. Let's wait and see...

Newcastle Utd V Sheffield Utd - 21/06/2020 @ 2pm BST (Live on Sky/beoutQ)

Struggling to be remotely interested in football until takeover is sorted. -
Hopefully this is the best the media have left.

Does this WTO report carry any clout in terms of whether they can reject the takeover based on what is said in it? Have a look at the twitter link I posted previous page as it gives an insight to this Just this second read it. I take it as the WTO report is nothing to worry about? You can only really go off what he was saying and he worked there 15 years so obviously knows the 'ins and out'. Thought this part was particularly interesting: Still a bit confusing as to what he's saying but I take it the WTO report means fuck all. If so, what the hell are they waiting for it for?

Back and forth over piracy suggests they are trying to iron it all out. It's not a negative to me at all. George even said this morning, confidence is still high. It’s surely still a red flag which we have been told since the start haven’t come up. It would only become a red flag if they couldn't come to an agreement over something. Talking back and forth about something doesn't say red flag to me.

I'm more switched off from it now. Being back to work has helped. The PL are taking the piss completely.
-
Got mackem written all over it.

We're due another letter from the fiance of the murdered journo I think. The next 1 will make it 5. Some going that. Or perhaps another piracy story followed up by something about all PL clubs have huge concerns over the takeover.
-
Where does it say that? George Caulkin has just said it on twitter. Got a link, that seems absurd, potentially could go on for ever. Read the thread man Ah gotcha got the post now, would be more helpful if people didn't just post absolute bullshit for the sake of it like. My apoligies.
-
Sorry I was kidding, he never said any such thing. I thought with it being a ridiculous thing to say no one would believe me.

Royal mail shares must be through the roof due to huge rise in stamp sales since this takeover farce started.
-
In typical Newcastle fashion, this takeover has turned into a complete fucking farce. Such a frustrating club to support.
-
Struggling to be even arsed about football returning without this takeover. I know football returning through project restart may be what it takes for the premier league to sign our takeover off but until that happens I'm literally not giving a shite about any football.

Wasn't it him that said "reliable middle eastern sources" when he said the deal was done last week. In answer to my own question, yes it was. It's obviously MBS or Geordie Dentist.

The Saudis bidding for TV rights is old news though isnt it? Just like most the articles at the minute. At least it's a positive anyway.
-
This is all just typical Newcastle United isn't it? I'm way beyond sick of this now, all this shit could literally only happen to us. Dragging on and on and on and on and on.......
-
Top thread that, very informative and should put a few doubts to bed. It only puts doubts to bed if ingles article is incorrect. Because he stated the Saudis are behind beout, not turning a blind eye to piracy. The way I read that thread, suggests that would give premier grounds to reject. Not sure how you read it that way. I read it the complete opposite way.

Are the WTO a court of law these days?
