If Howe does end up staying it does make me feel quite nervous, probably more nervous than watching us when we are winning a game Makes me nervous on a few fronts really. I think the biggest one for me is are we able to swallow our pride and admit that the majority of last season's transfers simply haven't worked out. Are we able to recognise that and shift in direction or are we stubborn and go along with the rhetoric that Wissa, Woltemade, Elanga will 'come good' with a full pre-season. I know my view on that situation and it'll be interesting to see how the club acts in relation to those players. Certainly if they stay and nothing changes in relation to each individual, then there will be more questions asked next season and probably rightfully so too. Hopefully, we abandon the notion of 'prem proven' & athletic footballers and across go with people that bring skill and creativity to our team.

I think we will probably get 4 or 5 points: Draw away at Forest, Win against West Ham at home and then a draw at Fulham. I think Arsenal will probably hammer us this weekend, and then Brighton will win a scrappy game at SJP.

He came back on the 8th December as a sub. He has had nearly 5 months since that to get fit or whatever. This isn't an average bloke who works 9-5 and then goes to the gym on an evening. This is a professional footballer, with the best fitness facilities at his fingertips, with doctors, sports scientists, physios, etc... at his disposal. If he cannot get fit in 4-5 months then I'd be scratching my head, it's a load of rubbish.

If he does end up staying, I am really, really nervous about our transfer dealings this summer, like incredibly nervous.

I too think he will end up resigning probably at the end of the season. I think he will be hurting at how this season has been and played out and I think he will want to not blot his copybook with it potentially carrying on any further (into next season).

Doesn't look great on face value does it after the article the other day. A few seasons back I would be gutted if he left, but I don't share the same notion now. His more recent form has been better, but I genuinely think this papers over a few cracks regarding how average he has been and obviously the penalty contribution also does a job at this.

I am not sure I agree with his comments RE passing style. Our build up play is copy & paste, we get it to the flanks, and then 9 times out of ten, it goes back to the right or left back from the winger, and we recycle again. It all feels quite 'safe' and regimented personally.
