Really hope there is nothing in these rumours, I would be incredibly disappointed if he were to leave. I love big Dan but if the decision to play Burn over Hall has annoyed the latter, then that would be a bitter pill to swallow. Hopefully it's all a load of rubbish.

I still maintain that he is a good footballer, has a good touch normally and looks tidy on the ball. But, I don't think he's a good enough striker to play there, and I don't rate him higher than out and out midfielders if he were to play in a deeper role. Some of that is down to a lack of physicality and general ability to cover the ground. Seems a top guy, but just not a good fit for us in the PL I believe.
