    Erik Pieters

He has been playing almost as a wing back today. Not been tested much, but a bit uncomfortable under pressure. Could've got one, maybe two assists with two really good passes.

  3. In the France squad for qualifiers vs. Albania and Romania.

    Erik Pieters

PSV is playing today so people may get another chance seeing him play.
  5. Unless he gets paid what he wants and not what Levy wants to pay him. Iago Falque Silva on loan to Spurs from Juve. With an option to buy?
  6. Don't think we'll buy any midfielders this window tbh.
  7. In theory he could wait until Wednesday to decide on the deal, leaving us no replacement. MA would be delighted with this! We won't be signing any replacements anyway.
  8. What's Enrique now earning in LFC? 70-80? ..That's more than Baines and probably on the same level as Cole and Evra..He's good, but not that good.. He's that good,
  9. Her next question should be - If he's so good, how come he's ending up at QPR? No. She's obviously smarter than that.
  10. Well it quite clearly does appear to have a fairly large bearing on things, otherwise we'd be bidding for Scott Barron, not Aly Cissokho. I think you see the point you're just pretending you don't. If we could get a better player for a mil or 2 more i believe we'll go for the cheaper option. They'll get away with what they can.
  11. Knew that's where the facepalm originated from. You reckon we need another big target man. Good for you. Pull yourself together, you wet lettuce. What
  12. Sorry, but glad he didn't get picked.

  14. "Bit of an enigma is Mr Nolan. Large segments of the Bolton AND Newcastle fans did not take to him at all. Might be a larger segment of us Hammers because we are more sophisicated. Pardew rarely makes a mistake on transfers and is a very shrewd judge. Made a profit on virtually every player he paid money for with us."
  15. He wants to leave for one. Something with his contract? Who knows. We are giving away one of ours.
  16. Can't see us buying him, or paying £10m, but either way - the right thing for a 20 year old Italian is for sure not go straight in to the line up. It's not really backup though.
  17. if we're just going on height Roux looks bigger to be honest Maiga is a bit taller. And I would say Maiga is more like Roux than a target man, without really likening them more than that. Although being a good header, he posseses good speed, has a high workrate and can strike a ball. :ilikeitwhenyoureinsideme: I answered a question.
  18. Although I agree Simpson isn't more than good, we have sent more than enough players out. If Santon is coming, he should play second fiddle to Simpson in the start, and gradually taking over - if he really is that good.

  20. About Nolan Roux: Matt Spiro – Writer and broadcaster for Ligue1.com * Nolan Roux is 23, great potential. Scored 15 goals to get Brest up, only 6 in debut top flight year but had injury. I’d guess €6-8m. * I had pleasure of commentating on Roux’s goal in the Brittany derby vs Rennes. Pure class. James Eastham – French football scout and betting expert * If they can get him for £7-8m it would be a bargain. Outstanding prospect. * He has a fantastic attitude, great movement, workrate and much, much more than a goalscorer. A potential French international. * He’s right-footed but decent on both sides, I can see him playing wide as well as through the middle. Jonathan Johnson – Writer for Sky Sports and French Football Weekly * Hot prospect. 23 yr old striker, 6 goals, 3 assists in 28 games. A former Lens youth player. Possesses great speed and positioning. * Superb performance for U-21′s in his only match for them v Croatia. * Son of Bruno Roux, 15 goals/5 assists in Ligue 2,strong player will adapt to Premier League, unfinished article, versatile-striker or winger
  21. He's not joking then? Who's the best player you've played against? Newcastle United's Nile Ranger Ranger
  22. Again?? I would ask why you facepalm'd me, but I don't want to hear your cringeworthy player descriptions. Just f*** off you numpty.

According to? Douglas. No wonder we took our time with a fee involved. Reckon Remy won't sign seeing as he's not mentioned.
  24. Hoarau is far from the type of player we need. I've spoken about Roux since the start of the window so would obviously be happy if that's our "panic buy".
