Bloody hell

I never plan to return until he's gone. I've stuck to it for years until I forced myself to go see Rafa's last home game just so I could see him in charge of us, still felt dirty going to that.

This is everything for me. I see people trying to discuss things about the club from a football perspective, tactics, league position, signings, players, results etc etc and I sit and think.... that means absolutely nothing. You can't look at NUFC as a competitor, as a club. It's just a fucking thing that exists. The whole lot is pointless and I don't understand what anyone gets out of it.

That alone pretty much sums up life as an NUFC supporter.

It's been bad since long before he arrived. Rafa papered over the cracks with a bit of false hope but that's about it. I've still all but given up on the club....and the takeover.

It’s ridiculous. I’m 50-50 as that’s what it’ll literally be 50-50. No one knows how the arbitration case will be. I’m Hopeful but that as much as I can be. The ultra positive types just want to be able to say see I told you all along while the rest of us will be too busy celebrating At the same time the ultra negative types will be able to say, I told you so, if it all goes arse over tip....best to keep optimistic, whilst prepared for the worst. How many 'ultra negative types' are there on here? And how many would seriously say 'told you so'? Most of what I see is people just being realistic. Doesn’t matter what they want it’s what is legally correct. We will just have to wait and see as none of us know, however I will say if they were so sure on their legal stand why didn’t they just reject it initially. The thing is, legally or not, if there's enough corruption at the top it won't matter, who's going to stop them from doing whatever they want? Grease the palm of the right person and the PL can do whatever they want. Exactly, this is where I'm at. They simply don't want it to happen, and I fully expect them to get their way.

You're right in my opinion nothing will happen (if there is anyway) until the end of the season. As I've mentioned a few times, the fact that Ashley is willing to gamble relegation and put the value of a reported 350m deal to probably half in value, indicates to me that nothing is happening. We will see That’s what doesn’t make sense...if the Takeover’s not close, why gamble with relegation and a £350m Business...Why stick with Bruce when it’s obvious to Barnes and co that this Bufoon is going to take us down. It doesn't make sense to us no, but it doesn't need to, has what's happened at the club for the past 10+ years ever made sense to us? It's what Mike has done for years, if there's no take over going ahead then we continue with the status quo, ie Mike not giving a fuck and gambling on staying up with a no mark manager and penny pinching.

Have to admit this is my feeling on it. I'll be back in the minute we're taken over, regardless who it is, be it the Saudi's or even the imaginary Mauriss takeover, a change from current drone NUFC is all I want.

Unfortunately Yorkie what may be tedious to some is interesting to others, no one is forcing you to read it. Like it or not this bloke has a legal action pending with the PL, the PL will not want some information disclosed into the public domain, and thereby his action is a very real threat to them. So whether you think he is central to all this or a peripheral figure, any bits of info from someone in contact with buyer and seller is useful at this point. Keep it coming Whitley. This thread is for people like us who revel in the thought that “one day” we’ll be rid of this thief. People are welcome to have their own views on the subject but please don’t come in here and criticise the likes of Whitley and Manorpark for their updates. If you don’t like what they have to say, stay in the “takeover thread”. Nah, most people on the forum revel in that thought, this threads for complete blind optimism.
