  3. He shouldn't be playing much of the game against Anzhi if he can't play today. How can you be happy that he's now going to be even further behind match fitness? Match fitness will come its important after being out for so long he is managed properly and Anzhi is the priority as far as HBA is concerned We don't know he'll be back v anzhi do we? May be another set back. (Apologies if there's something to the contrary in the last few pages I haven't read back as it takes ages on me phone )
  4. Fairly sure they 'ran the rule' over MYM. If he goes there, its obviously for the money and he's shit.......
  5. Small stakes, but still... Put the odd £3 something on Botafogo/Corinthians/Newells dnb to return £30. again...

  10. I just keep 365 on for the scores, always on the ball. Speaking of live scores, how fucking shit is SS score centre.
  11. I think I might have to turn it off. I am absolutely shitting my pants. Shitting it. stay on , and give us commentary- while we watch qpr vs the idiots. No, I can't. Shaking like a shitting puppy. Can't be doing with 45 minutes of this. Am going to wash the car. Done that once during our relegation season. We lost by a goal against Fulham. Way to make the lad feel better. Nice

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Aye, pointless having Hatem that far forward. No choice last night like, but no point having him too far away from play. I'm not totally sure about this. We want him on the ball as much as possible, but we also want him on the ball in areas where he can really hurt the opposition. Not saying he should be a lone striker obv. Imo this is why he needs a free role behind the striker, drifting anywhere in the '3' of the 4-2-3-1.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

That's what I would say as well In fairness I think the keeper done well, had himself in a position where he was covering most of the goal, and ready to hit the deck or stay on his feet depending what was needed, made it a a tough chance. Although at the time I was hoping HBA would put his laces through it.
  16. Very much doubt he's sorted after such a short time, he'll be back on it within a month.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Thought he was a lot less involved than usual, which isn't a bad thing. I think it may have been one of the reasons Pardew was happy to stick him up top on his lonesome as it meant he wasn't in the thick of everything on his first game back. Also meant he didn't have as many defensive duties as he normally would playing on the right, so wasn't required to do as much tracking back etc. Really pleased he got an hour under his belt and come out unscathed. Will have done him wonders. Had the best chance of the game as well, good move from Pardew.
