Ah f***. I have backed Golden Lilac. Need to put a saver on summit else now
-
Oh and Wilson, it was sunny and hot all day until about 6pm. Result!
-
Well a terrible day yesterday, saved by £10 e/w on Fiorente at 14s on the Wednesday night. 15p Rule 4 though the robbing bastads!! Ridiculous amounts of alcohol, fine ass women everywhere and I think I tried to pull one of the clients? She's 35 and married. Not sure I've got a job to go back to Monday
-
Off to Newmarket with work today. Freebie, all in, except my bets, so will end up costing a bomb no doubt Valiant, Gale Force Ten and Mister Music at a big price take my fancy. Only 7 runners now in the latters race though, so not much chance of an e/w. Looks a good day's racing, just hope it stays sunny!

Chariot racing in South Africa anyone?
-
Get in Nathaniel. Defo should have backed him for the King George before this. Will be about 2/1 now. Thought farhh was gonna get there! In various multiples and done him on the nose with my winnings from Trade Commissioner earlier.
-
Fuck off frankie
-
WOW! That was easy
-
Set to Music on the nose. Great Heavens in one of my multiples.
-
Weyy. First big single of the day. £20 on the nose. Frankie missed out on my eaxh way, AGAIN! I swear he stops riding if he isn't going to win!
-
Fuck sake, I'm on Trade Commissioner, Nathaniel and Starscope in various small multiples. Cityscape on the nose for me in the Eclipse. Looks wide open, can't do Farhh at 5/2 so thought I'd take him on. Was going to have £5 e/w on Crackerjack King, but twatting Pricewise ruined the price and the ground will probably be too soft anyway.
-
Fucking forum bets Fuck you all, I'm going home
-
Bit of form for Crackerjack King tomorrow, not sure if there is a formline to be had anywhere between the runners in behind and the other Eclipse runners mind. Still can't split Cityscape, Farhh and Nathaniel for that. Might just close my eyes and point
-
Farhaan non runner, so had me tenner on Afsare instead. Probably dodged a bullet with Farhaan being pulled
-
Well in Roger. Jarrow just won nicely! There's something to be said for backing horses by names £5 e/w on Ray of Joy, think she got 3rd. Got a load of silly multiples on, as well as the Chain of Events bet. EDIT: Just seen what odds you got! Well fooking played lad
-
Drifting like a raft TBF. Something's up there. It was 7s and 8s everywhere this morning. But seeing some massive prices for it now!
-
Today and tomorrow look really hard. The supporting card at Sandown on both days looks pretty shit and the Eclipse hardly looks straightforward! I've managed to make a case for about 5 horses out the ten and subsequently scared myself off betting on it A tentative e/w double on Farhaan and Chain of Events and again in singles, will probably be my only bets today. Might chuck them in a e/w L15/yankee with Cityscape and McCains horse in the Old Newton Cup tomorrow. Looks like Haydock and Donny might get pulled because of the shitty weather though.
-
Oh no! What have I done!
-
Chain of Events in the 4.35 at Sandown later is 12s with 365 and around 7s everywhere else! Won his last two, both at Sandown and goes on any ground. Gone up quite a bit in the weights, but pissed in last time and seems generous. Not saying he'll necessarily win, the Godolphin horse is well fancied. But well worth an e/w at that price IMO. Might do a few multiples as well, but nowt much I fancy. Need to save some spends for the July meeting next week.

PP dont have a market for it(unless its been pulled following this withdrawal Yeah, they will be adjusting it plus sorting the declarations out (think they're at 10am). 9/4 the field. Farhh fav, then 11/4 Nathaniel (in from 13/2 which is a joke) and can't remember anymore any excuse for the prices to drastically contract and the bookies to have a field day. 10 declared. I reckon AOB doesn't want to affect SYT's stud valuation. Possibility he could lose to a less exposed type and might as well finish in the UK on a high point. Send him back racing in Aus for 1 or 2 more wins, then retire with the wins fresh in everyones mind. I bet Queenie and Stoutey are kicking themselves for not entering Carlton House now!
-
So You Think a N/R Saturday. Hope nobody backed him ante post. I do hope people backed others ante post though. Prices will collapse now.
-
Feel most of them aren't worth the hassle and you might as well stick with websites with fixed odds betting. But when I see wins like that I feel Scoops are worth a quid here and there. Like Roger says, the Jackpot or Scoop 6 is worth a go every now and then if the pot is big. Placepots fuck me off no end, stopped doing them now. At big meetings, if you can get the fav out and get some big priced winners in, it's probably worth it. I've done them before to 20p a line and got 2 placed in 3 or 4 of the races plus, had the favourite out in most of them and it's returned about 70 odd quid. Had mates that have done it at small meetings and got back less then what they staked Seems a lot of hassle for not a big return. Not that easy to call that many horses getting placed in 6 races either! Happy doing my multiples online and seeing the exact paybacks.

In the Eclipse? Not a betting race for me that. Too much of a bottler this season to back SYT @ 10/11 (can't afford to bet big like I used to). Plus Nathaniel probably needs the run after a long time off and is better at 12f. Farhh looks classy, but not too confident he'll reverse form with SYT. Leaves Crackerjack King at 16s as an e/w shout, but will probably get stuffed and Bonfire at 14s. Not convinced by the 3 year olds this year, so Bonfire doesn't appeal to me massively either. Might do a £10 straight forecast with SYT and Farhh, but will probably just watch and enjoy...... I went to this meeting last year, lost a fair bit but enjoyed it. Supporting races look terrible this year mind.

Hopeless with football bets, will do a few accumulators now and then, sometimes a scorecast at the match as well, but that's it. Forget who, but a few people on here were on about backing Farhh next time out after losing at Royal Ascot. If you fancy it, he runs Saturday in the Eclipse, faces So You Think again though and Nathaniel. Looking a class race so far.
