Opinion Poll was impressive just now at Sandown. In one pf my yankees and 1st part of my double with Carlton House.

Ah, is it? Been pissing down all afternoon mind, that's a third of my treble down. Am assuming so, i checked my bet and they were both void and not running til later Still on mate. Non runners perhaps?
-
Get in. 15/2 this morning, won at 9/2. Only win when I do girl bets, £5 e/w.

Golden Waters in the first at Sandown is 16s/14s into 5s/6s! I'm on Chain of Events, but that is a bit of a gamble. Think Pricewise tipped it up in the post.

Godolphin retain Dettori, he's their first jockey. Only Bin Suroor and Al Zarooni train for them in this country. If that beats Carlton House and Columbian home I will be very surprised. Good luck Mr.Worm.

On Tales of Grimm in the 8.25. Heard whispers round Newmarket as an e/w for the Guineas but never got a prep run. Stoute's have been running shite for a while now, but the 13/2 was too big to turn down.

It was a free bet, mate. free? Yes, free. Bet365 offer that you'll get here and there again. Are you only allowed to stake said free bet on 6000/1 shots or over?

What's everyone on for the derby? Main Sequence and/or Astrology e/w for me.

Keane did 99% of his talking on the pitch as one of the best midfielders the PL will ever see. Barton's the opposite. Not disputing any of that mate. But the challenge on Haaland is worse than anything Barton has done on the pitch. I'd argue it's up there with battering that little scrote outside McDonalds. It really was fucking horrific. Constantly nailing people, losing the plot, starting fights, nearly starting fights with refs. Keane is a cunt and I have no time for the man, despite all of that, yes he was a brilliant footballer.. Catts Vieira for me like.
-
Obviously Keane was a far superior player. But him having a pop at Barton? Do me a favour. Keane is one of the dirtiest players I've seen in my lifetime and he was clearly a bit mental. He's also a grade A wanker.

Linked with a lot of right backs, but not seen a left back mentioned in weeks. Would love us sign a lefty and shift Santon over.

I am pretty sure he actually is a mag kernt marra. 9-1

Yep, Sewelly noticed this I see. I skim read it and noticed the old 'nice holiday destination' posts were creeping in again. They can't help themselves. The amount of times you see threads on there like: 'Derby game in Kathmandu?' 'Anyone know where I can watch the game in Barbados?' Such fucking mongs. They try so hard to point it out

Whilst I agree he looked composed and natural playing more centrally, I disagree about his speed. Thought he looked fast as fuck when he got going, rarely saw it, but a few times vs Scunny, Forest and Everton he used his pace well.

Chellenge for Europe again/comfortable top half. I think we'll fall short of pushing for CL. Fully expect Chelsea and Liverpool to improve, Everton are always up there and I expect the likes of Fulham and Stoke to be more capable of a top half finish, without the distraction of the Europa. I expect us to lose 1, maybe 2 of our class players (Ba, Tiote, HBA, Cisse etc) and 2 or 3 not so good players (Simpson, Guthrie, Best). If we invest wisely, replace them with quality and don't start the season with a thin squad, I think we can compete on both fronts. Centre back, full back, wide forward and some midfield cover (already supposedly got Amilfitano), plus a couple of young uns/back up players and keep the majority of the first team together and we'll have another top season IMO. But I am worried we won't fetch in enough quality or spend enough. Pards has already talked up Vuckic, Sammy and Ferguson, saying they'll be playing more games and we won't drastically change our transfer plans. I'm convinced the latter is ready to step into the first team and make an impact, I'm not so sure on the first two though. Sammy is still raw as hell and just seems clumsy, Vuckic is never fit and suffers from not having a position. Are players like Gosling, Perch and R.Taylor good enough as back up? The ACN could fuck us right up and all, I'm dreading that.

I do love chicken with all the sauces (ketchup, curry).

Thought he had that Stretford fella as his agent, before that his Dad? All sounds a bit dodge to me.

I also think he is similar to Eto'o. I dont however agree that Cisse is gangly and awkward at all. Ba is more the gangly/awkward type. Cisse has far more technical ability imo. Definitely agree on Ba appearing the more awkward of the two. I just think Cisse looks really wirey and sometimes looks awkward when shielding the ball or when bringing an aerial ball down. That is not to say he has a shite touch, he falls over his feet or anything like that. His touch is usually pretty damn good and as I mentioned, he is skillful. Ba is all arms and legs and actually loses control quite often. But strangely, I'd say he has the bigger range of individual skills. I've confused myself

I know this compariosn thing has been done to death now, he's like Cole, he's like Tino, he's like Jon Parkin etc. But he really does remind me of Eto'o at times, noticed it a bit more against Stoke for some reason. Pretty high compliment to pay him, obviously not as quick or necessarily as good (yet ). But his movement, sometimes gangly/awkward style and ruthless finishing are all similar. He's actually quite skillful and has the same awesome knack of being in the right place at the right time. Read he was the player Papiss most looked up to and wanted to be like as well when playing in the lower leagues.

Was a carbon copy of Cisse's first vs Liverpool. Should have headed it, but when you see it back, he gets a right shove in the back from Shawcross/Huth/Generic Stoke Thug and he does well to stay on his feet. Most would have been barged over and would probably have got the pen, certainly did enough to stop him getting a better connection and scoring. Thought he was fairly unlucky not to score and he was looking nearly back to his best. Still lacking confidence mind, got 1 on 1 with the defenders a few times and elected to pass or shoot from long range. He had plenty of chances playing up the middle, he rotated with Cisse less than normal and spent a lot of time playing as the main striker. He's probably our only player that was more effective in the 4-4-2. The team are playing well, he's still playing well, but getting less chances. Can't complain really.

He's making a habit of being the last one out on the pitch. Noticed it down at Swansea and in home games against QPR, Liverpool and Stoke. Swansea was brilliant, when the players did their little team celebration, he wandered off on his own and carried on doing it Amazed at how much he is improving defensively on a gambe by game basis, some of his covering was ridiculous. It was right up the other end, but it looked a certain goal near the 90 minute mark. Then Santon just strolls through, sweeps up, runs 10 or so yards with the ball and casually passes out of defence. Got a lot of time for defending like that!

Saw Besty last night, nearly broke my hand when he shook it. Built like a brick shithouse and yes he does look like Drake. Joked on FB and Twitter before, if I didn't see him I would kick off. It's fate, cheers God
