Isak the best/worst example of this. Early on. Fans and the media were making out like £70-80m would be enough
-
Once he settles down a bit in the final third. He’s going to be the complete full back and certainly one of the best in the world. Not many get any change out of him 1 v 1. Especially when he plays on the left.
-
I don’t mind the new kit. Looks a lot better on and in the pictures from the official launch. Compared to the ones from the JD stock room. Not really surprising.
-
Chemical Jim Rat just looks like a massive cunt doesn’t he? Before he even opens his mouth or you read up on him. You just know by looking at him he’s a prized bellend.
-
Same as this. Osula can run, cause a bit of a nuisance and actually challenge CB’s from time to time. Wilson used to love a bit of needle and has always been fairly strong for his size and doesn’t mind mixing it with CB’s. Doing some shithouse stuff. Never great at it, but he would put himself about. I think for a while now, that pace and any power he had. Appears to have long since deserted him. I think if Isak is out. It will be Gordon if we go 4-3-3. Wilson if we stay with the 3-4-2-1.

To stay on a similar theme of over-exaggerating. I think this bloke might be worse than Harold Shipman.

What pod is it that this cunt gets on? Isn’t it the one with Rio? That is going to be hard on the ears His comedic timing and dramatic pauses need a lot of work and all. Conveniently ignored all of the massive hits we’ve had in the transfer market previously. Then tried to show how good Man U’s business was. By listing a load of over-priced, mediocre at best signings
-
He has to shoulder some of the responsibility. I’m amazed how much of a free pass he keeps getting from the media and fans of other clubs. They’ve managed to get worse under him. Although it is hard to properly judge because of them tanking for the Europa and how rigid he has been with his system. But then he has to take a lot of the blame there.

What is it with these cunts?! Supposedly desperate for a scrap. Yet they only ever thrown furniture and random items. Not punches. Some of the throws before the wheelie bins got involved were like that of a 5 year old. Special shout out to matey who was in some mad boxing stance. Trying to slip punches from a bloke stood about 5 yards away. All whilst continually getting hit by wheelie bins

He’s renowned for chatting shit. So probably.

Awful game. Up there with our 0-0 with Cardiff. You know the one, the Kenedy game Personally, I’m very happy for Spurs. Loads of my good mates support them, I can’t stand Man U and this just completes the set of teams that don’t win trophies. Actually finally winning trophies. Well, for knockout competitions, anyway. Good for them. Oh and the Arsenal fume is going to be delicious

Mate’s 40th in London and been organised for weeks. He’s a Spurs fan, but he was even looking at decent pubs in the area to in his words ‘watch the Toon game.’ Everyone knows our game should be on.
-
Going to be out and about and can't even watch the game. So I'll just be glued to my phone in the pub whilst the Chelsea game is on. FFS. What a load of wank.
-
Liverpool v Palace doesn’t impact 5th I get they want the trophy lift. But just cut to that FFS. Surely if only 3 games are being shown. It should be Forest v Chelsea, Villa and the NUFC games. If it were 4 games. Then City should be on too.

I think we were genuinely in for him and it was all but done. The Callum Wilson injury and Isak being available for a fee below his release clause. Meant that we changed our approach. Praise the Lord that we did.
-
I think it’s a bit blinkered to just look at G&A for Joao Pedro. I think he is absolutely mustard and a brilliant hybrid sort of attacking mid/forward type. Pops up all over the pitch, great feet, passing always looks decent and incisive. I don’t think £60m is steep for someone as good as him, personally. However, it would be a lot to pay for someone who in our 4-3-3 would be a bit position-less other than as a backup for Isak. So unless Howe is looking to start playing with a 10. I can’t see much truth in that rumour at all.
-
Can't stand him and it is hard to have sympathy when he is such a dick to the media. However, if the bloke asking the question genuinely wrote about him being a 'clown or hero'. Then I can understand his reaction here.

We'll have both for a cut price fee. We don't mind helping you out Pep.

It's a part of his game that is massively lacking. He completely crumbles when he gets near the box and has a chance for a shot, IMO. It's strange that he is so confident in possession in more dangerous areas, where losing the ball would often lead to a chance for the opposition. But when he is on the ball going towards goal. He seems to freeze or just carry on with the ball without making a decision. Even his only goal for us came from him almost running it into the goal, FIFA style On the rare occasion he does get a shot off, he rushes it and snatches at the chance. His crossing is also very hit and miss and is somehow better from the byline on his weaker foot. Never seems like the type to cross from deep or pick anyone out with a cutback from the right. I genuinely don't think it's too outrageous to suggest that if his attacking output and quality could even get up to half that of his defensive ability. Then he'd be one of the best full backs in the world.
-
Same. We got hacked two and a half weeks back and I have so much to catch up on. But I can't even contemplate working properly ATM.
-
I'm in London on Sunday on the piss. So our game better be on Sky. Or I'll be sat watching it on my phone somewhere. City are still going to be involved. So they could put their game on instead of ours, I suppose. I think Forest v Chelsea is nailed on to be one of the games, the same as Liverpool.
-
FWIW, his FBRef, which is by no means perfect. Does highlight that in a lot of areas, his numbers and stats are down on last season. Some are fairly similar or a bit better, TBF. I think I screenshotted them on my phone. I'll add them later if I remember. I'm sure this will trigger Kaiz. As he gets disgusted whenever anyone mentions VAR and goal celebrations or FBRef
-
Yep. That one from Martinelli was ridiculous. My heart did get up to about 200BPM at the time, though. I won't lie
-
To be expected for his age as he is still a teenager and he’s not played loads of first team football. But he is often all over the place defensively. Really rash and naive at times. Wasn’t he a centre mid growing up, similar to Hall? I wonder if that is where his future lies. He’s great on the ball.
