Cisse in Lisbon. Was amazing.
-
They would have won anyway, like claiming Lampard's goal against Germany at the WC not being given would have made a difference.
Tbf it would have made it 2-2 at the time wouldn't it? Change in momentum etc.
-
I don't mind Sunderland fans to be honest. The ones from round mine are all decent lads, hold a really strong hate of anything Newcastle related like. I do agree with hating mackems though. Theyre a hideous breed. The accent is absolutely horrendous.
Has to be the worst in Britain, ahead of the Brummie accent. Rancid.

Over the moon if Woodman has fucked off. Odious fat cunt.
-
Disgusting. Southampton are gonna kill us.
Doubt we'll be playing Bigi, Lascelles, Satka and Ferguson against Soton.
Settle yaself down man.
No, but Williamson and/or Taylor will. Which is worse?
-
Sissoko right wing man. Just no.
-
Three signings is simply not good enough, as good as the new players allegedly are.
It's no surprise, though. From an attacking point of view, the numbers are there; Cabella, Sissoko, Aarons, Obertan, Gouffran, Perez? Plenty of options so they're probably not going to sanction any more additions in that area - regardless of how gash/unsuited/unproven those options are. Another season of square pegs will ensue if we're not buying a winger.
Defensively the squad is a joke but again, there's numbers, regardless of how gash/unsuited/unproven those options are.
If we're signing any more then players are going to have to leave. Lighten the roster.
GK: Krul, Elliot, Alnwick, Woodman - no room
RB: Janmaat - room for one
CB: Mbemba, Colo, Taylor, Williamson, Lascelles, Good, Satka - no room
LB: Haidara, Dummett - no room
W: Sissoko, Cabella, Aarons, Obertan, Gouffran - no room
CM: Wijnaldum, De Jong, Colback, Anita, Tiote, Abeid, Vuckic - no room
ST: Cisse, Mitrovic, Perez, Riviere - possibly room for one more?
If we were an outfit that took our football seriously, there'd be absolutely f*** all to prevent us from signing more players. The squad is full of absolute guff.
Sissoko better be nowhere near the wing.
-
That was brilliant. Much better than previous years when there's been absolutely nowt.
-
Cannavaro is such a cool bloke.
-
He was starting CM some games man. The previous set up was such a shambles.
-
More excited about this signing than the previous two to be honest. Out of the three he's the only one I havnt seen play either
-
MYM was shifted to right back as soon as Coloccini was fit, and then to the bench when Debuchy was back despite performing well. I have absolutely no doubt that under a different manager he would have become a very good PL centre half.
Also, I seem to remember an away Europa league game when they were together (Colo and MYM) and they were fine. It definitely would not have worked long term but they definitely were not terrible in every game they played together by all means. There was probably only a handful.

Apparently asked to be left out of today's game ahead of move here.

Desperately need a winger, especially if he is persisting with Sissoko wide right. For all Sissoko does some daft things sometimes he is absolutely wasted on the right.
-
Would have liked him to have had a full pre season under his belt. Shame, but confident he will improve this season.

Found this.

Did Sky manage to keep La Liga next season? Be absolutely devastated if not.
-
I think McClaren will put Sissoko wide, for some reason. Wijnaldum and Colback/Tiote
in the middle, with de Jong ahead. Leaving Cabella, Aarons & Perez to fight it out for left wing. If we sign Mitrovic, I'd still be starting Cisse ahead of him.
Really, really hope not. Looking forward to watching Sissoko under proper management.
-
Would love us to have a player who would grab the game by the scruff of it's neck, proper old fashioned captain like Keane or even Gerrard. Sissoko has the physique to be an absolute monster but he is a proper pansy. Currently Janmaat most likely, although it will be Coloccini I would wager.
Nolan was a mint captain. You want a captain who will be in the refs lug all game.
PS need this avatar changed ASAP

Sure on FM his favoured club was actually Newcastle on 14. Always wondered why.
-
Sissoko right win man, no way. Can't wait Williamson fucks off too.
-
Never noticed how good looking Janmaat actually is.
-
What's the big deal with having options in the squad like? I realise it isn't a priority but the more talent, the better really. Obviously CM is not a priority but competition is healthy, especially when you are improving the squad with better players.
That and it will give everyone a lift, including the players.

Was brilliant today. Get balls into the box and this lad will score.
