Definitely Giggs as fuck. But this baldy cunt is the best player in the championship by a country mile. Ritchie is second.
He was fucking tremendous today.
-
Said last week 4 points from villa and Norwich or just don't lose either and we have a god run of games after that. In our hands to be top 2 in December but lessons still need to be learned. Had it on the radio didn't even celebrate more concerned with what went on before it
Do you live alone by any chance?
-
Probably a massive Giggs but what a little shit Olsson is. Always hated him since his Blackburn days but fuck me. What a prick.
-
Shelvey has been our most important player this season and without him we wouldn't be anywhere near the top in my opinion. Creates so much, always wants the ball. People need to realise he's not a DM in the sense that he will sit in front of the back four, it's just not his game. He doesn't shower himself in glory with his defensive work but that's not what he's on the pitch for. Let Hayden do that. He's probably won Championship player of the month and its thoroughly deserved in my opinion.
An injury to Shelvey and we are relying solely on Ritchie for creativity.
-
I know it was slightly before, but it was his pathetic flick try and give it to Shelvey which gave them possession which led to the goal. Ritchie was a simple pass about 5 yards infront of him.
-
Would start Murphy and Perez.
-
Got a horrendous feeling about this game. Hope to see something similar to Derby away though.
-
Fancy the King to gift this lot 3 points today.
-
Rotherham away, 1st of October is the first 3 o'clock game we will be able to "watch"
How do you know?
-
Fantastic night at his talk in tonight. Shame he fucked off out the back door like but a good night regardless.
-
Fantastic assist last night for Scotland. Inch perfect.

8/10. I think many of our fans (including me) sometimes forget what league we are in. The likes of Hanley, Clark, Murphy etc might not set the world alight but they're probably capable of playing for a top 6 Championship side. I know the idea is to win it, but they're fine for this league. Worry about shifting them if we get promoted.
Personally like the fact we've got players now who want to play for Newcastle United, rather than seeing us a stepping stone. The players we've signed might be down on talent or quality from the ones that left, but like Yorkie says, they more than make up for it in determination. I know which lot I would rather have trying to get me out of this division.
All in all considering the overhaul we have had, to end the window £30m (roughly) in profit and still have the likes of Mitrovic, Perez & Mbemba here can only be seen as a positive. More than enough to get us to January
-
Excited for this one. We don't look anywhere near the finished article but probably have individuals good enough so we can win games without actually playing too well, if that makes sense. Brighton are notoriously hard to beat but with their defensive injuries more or less mirroring our striking problems, it should be a very close game. Score draw is my prediction, but would absolutely love a win so we have confidence going into the international break. 3 defeats in 5 would be pretty uninspiring stuff, especially with the run of games in September.
Expect us to go;
Sels; Anita, Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett; Hayden, Shelvey, Ritchie, Diame, Gouffran; Ayoze.

Zara to west aam for 25m. Is he even that good?
He's ok. Probably worth £3m in your eyes tbf.
-
Bet the lad just fancies going home for a bit. He's been here since he was 17 when Joe Kinnear signed him; long time away from home. Would love for him to come back and not be s*** any more, but equally I'd be just as happy if one or both of Sels or Darlow improve dramatically, and we say goodbye to Tim.
And fwiw the mateyness with Defoe after his goal was f***ing rancid.
Joe Kinnear? I'm sure he made his debut about 3 years prior to that waste landing in Newcastle.
-
Interesting that he played more of the box-to-box type tonight. Played really well, as did Shelvey in my opinion.
-
Soon as I seen that 35m price for Sissoko I feared this would happen. We would be stuck with him despite seemingly needing to sell him to fund signings
I wish you would bore off like.
-
8, although I realise it's an arse twitcher, I'd love to win the play offs... If only for the glory of winning at Wembley for once in a lifetime
Fuck that. As good as it would be to win that game, just fuck that.

The squad numbers are more or less announced, bar Clark and Diame, no?
Jesus 2
Hanley 5
Hayden 14
Gayle 20
Ritchie 27
I reckon the rest of the players will keep their old ones?
Would be interesting to see if Lascelles/Mbemba got number 6.
-
Wonder when we release the squad numbers and announce captain? Usually would be done by now. Sorry if Giggs.
-
Won't happen. He will be here this season
Or maybe if he wants to go we should sell the cunt for £3m so we can get some replacements in who want to be here?
-
To those who were there, what shirt number was Hanley wearing?
-
Second half seemed a lot better!
Because you added a bit pace into the team - if Colback and Shelvey are going to be the midfield pairing then I would have major concerns.
Kind of get what you're saying but from February onwards in 09/10 we used Guthrie and Nolan as a two (I think...). Certain games will require certain players, but even them two should piss it. Still can't stand the little freak though.

Going to this, can't wait. Unfortunately this means nailed on defeat.
