Wood picking up exactly where he left off

Fraser and Wood battling it out for the worst touch in Austria award

Really hope we get a new winger this summer.

I for one think they are doing a quality job, and Ekitike won't be the last player we lose out on. When we are not trying to get freebies like Hendrick and actually going for good, young talented players. We are going to fight it out with champion league teams regularly. We beat Milan for Botman. Some players might prefer going to lower tier clubs who have continental football too. There is nothing wrong with that but I am really happy with how they are ambitiously trying to get the right people in. I'd rather sign nobody than compromise on half-decent upgrades for too much money.

Deadline day will be very interesting I should think. A lot of teams hopefully might give up on getting the Newcastle tax.

That picture is my favourite thing that has happened for some time.

Getting Eriksen in and flirting with Paqueta to be his successor when he has less time left on his contract and is more affordable would be ideal, spend fees on other positions this season.

Really enjoyed it when Ayew scored the 2nd goal and it looked like it would be Everton going down, but at least they have some fight and seemed to care a bit about staying up. Happy to send Burnley down today. The one gameplan is fouling or diving and kicking it up to Ashley Barnes who is such a wanker.
We were pretty bad, and its clear that we need better quality in the frontline around Wilson, we should have had at least 2 more goals on the counter and it should have been over at 60 minutes. However missing Joelinton for a scrap like this was a bit of a blow, our tiny wingers just got bullied and we had a ref who basically ignored the rules all game. That foul when their centreback jumped into wood and bounced back was hilarious.
Special mention to the referee though. He didnt have any major situations to screw up, but a prime example of a ref letting a violent team just do what they want for 90 minutes. Happens so often and there will be no consequenses for it, and it will happen many times next season.
Really, really good season and I can't wait for the next one!

Don't mind relegating these at all. Just basically spending the whole game fouling and hoping the ref misses it. Someone is going to get injured at the rate the referee is giving out no cards.
Is it just me who thought we should have had a 2nd penalty for handball? The fella brushed by Longstaff and fell over grabbing the ball.

Still laughing 2 minutes straight here.

Ayew goal. Absolutely delicious.

Haha the amount of going on there with Leon Osman as commentator. Light orange at best.

Love Burn tackling Saka and getting all angry at him lying down like a girl.
-
We've dominated them a bit like we did Chelsea. Problem is up front they are a lot more dangerous. Schar has been an absolute magician and by far the most effective player on the pitch, also special mention to St. Maximin who's been very good.

Christ thats shite defending. Pen unfortunately.

Was gonna make fun of Pickford there, but thats a really unfortunate deflection.

I mean I like Wood and he works hard. But a free header should be what he excels at, and it't not even surprising when he fluffs it. I genuinely think its a bigger chance if you cross it to Sterling.

Bruno has to play well now he went for that hair.

The Everton players (Richarlison and Gordon) do realize that they don't have to act like every single tackle is a career ending injury right? What a bunch of utter fannies.
Most dislikeable team ive watched for a while

Amazing game by Pickford to be fair. Never got the hype as he always tanks against us, but doing very well for Everton today.
-
Both Shelvey and Willock injured?
-
Have to say i kind of enjoyed the ref doing this to City, happens every fricking time to us when we play them.
The 3 minutes extra time and then blowing at 2:50 was pure gold.

Need 4 homegrown players for Europe. So who are the best homegrown? Longstaff x2, Anderson and a 3rd choice gk for me, woodman? Unless we buy mbabu who would count.
Nothing wrong with keeping Sean right now, our midfield is good and we can use the budget on other positions.
