Maddison gets that 999 times out of a 1000

Jesus fucking christ. VAR is a joke

Absolutely furious at the referee here. Every 70:30 goes to Leeds even though they are at 30.
Fabian Schar man of the match so far. Classy.

Just now, Jordan said:
Losing Joe will fuck us. The only presence we have in the middle.
He was really getting into the game too. The only midfielder that brings us up the pitch.

Wood is so Burnley. Lets foul the opposition first and look for the ball later.

Dembele/Lingard type deals will go to the wire i expect. Selling clubs know they will leave for free in 6 months so the price will continuously drop as the selling club don't get what they want. In Dembele's case especially he is incredibly overpaid compared to what he offers taking injuries/form into account from what I've read. so the agent will want someone to "match" his wages this January i think. If his contract runs out he will be stuck having to get the highest wage another club will offer him. So i can see us possibly doing this deal if all he wants is money, im not too sure if its the best for us but depends on alternatives. Lingard on the other hand I would expect might wait until the summer for a premier league side unless we manage to turn him.

He was, this came up on my Twitter today.
Jesus christ he's good. Get him back and sub him on for the last 20. Can't be worse than what we have coming on to make an impact.

Feel like Luke Edwards is just trying to be overly positive now cos he spent years being the previous regime's personal lapdog.
-
After watching a few youtube clips i really wish i didnt. He looks very tasty, a bit lanky and Henryesque. Not gonna get him now.
-
Krafth at left back for me. Then Manquillo until Lewis/new left back comes in. It aint perfect but it isnt Ritchie
-
Why's he taking the train?
Covid you would have thought they could at least drive him up.
-
Nobody has looked at squad balance since Rafa left. 1 usable left back. 1 striker, 5 centrebacks. We often resort to using 4 wingers. Wood would be the kind of 3rd choice striker we'd bring in on a free, unfortunately we might have to bite the sour apple and pay up for someone like that. Even under pardew we usually had 4 strikers for Christ's sake.

Midfielder as well to play alongside Joelinton and Shelvey. I was begging for Longstaff to come off for Willock. After 10 minutes of Willock im begging for us to replace him with Jack Colback.
-
We really need a striker in this side.

The sound when Trippier touched the ball.

Watched the press-conference. Love watching Howe talk. Edwards wanted to ask two questions but the press officer moved on after the first.

They quoted us an unrealistically high price of 60m. Usually we would just go "oh well, we tried". Now the new owners start linking us with other options at cb, and what do you know the asking price is alright-ish again. Loving it.

22 goal involvements. Have we scored 22 this season?
-
100k p/w is about the rate i think. Not been fleeced it seems.
-
If he's only 55m we should just buy him!
-
30million has been quoted for a 31 year old Trippier. They'd be daft not to try and get more after seeing this. This is why i think some might have to wait until later in the window, even if we are desperate for reinforcements right away. I read somewhere that this "opens up for Milan". Like they are gonna pay 60.

The amount of absolute nonsense they check when its a goal against Liverpool.
Terrific game though, hope Chelsea win it now they have been by far the better side as team.

Sign him up!

Makes sense, Chelsea I imagine only want him to cover Chilwell this season. They wouldn’t have much use for him next season, and both Chilwell and Digne would want to play week in week out. Would be delighted if we signed him
Am I wrong in thinking he can score from a free-kick?

Absolutely huge win, and so deserved. Schar was fantastic, Manquillo was terrific after he's come on and shut down Raphinha and brought us up the pitch. I feared the worst when Joelinton was taken off, but the whole midfield played well throughout, despite Wilock being mostly terrible in the first half he grew into the game.
I would argue that this is the worst and most one-sided refereeing performance i've seen since the takeover though. No wonder how people are coming up with consipiracy theories. Any other team in the league would have gotten that penalty. Every time we got near their box they were allowed to foul us, or fall onto the ground so the ref could stop the play and give them a free kick. Overtime was Leeds, the co-commentator and the referee against Newcastle.
