  1. Wasn't the second half the issue last year? the entire season was the issue.
  2. I despair at your post Mole, not because of what it says. It's the fact we are resigned to signing players to suit Pardew's hoofball tactics Out of all frenchies isn't gignac the most suited for Pardew's style?
  3. You honestly don't find this embarrassing? Not as embarrassing as having JFK there already.
  4. So we got an extra scout, calm down lads.
  5. Nufc Fan Conspiracy Theory 1001: Harford groomed to take over Pardew.
  6. Like I've always said it doesn't matter what formation he deploys. Outcome is same dire tripe of football.
  7. Yeah we absolutely have to keep him obviously, I'd lose the plot completely if he's sold. Just the whole "we know he'll keep most of the money" thing is so ridiculous. Not so much as him keeping most of the money. more like not enough money reinvested in time.
  8. I personally prefer to keep him as we know fat mike will keep most of the money rather than reinvest. But it makes absolutely no difference to me whether he goes to lfc, spurs, arsenal or who ever. who cares.
  9. Don't understand this at all unless we got someone like Thauvin, Ben Arfa is very very very hard to replace For a man that hasn't manage to complete half a season in his whole career at nufc. That hard to replace?
  10. Would sell in an instant if the transfer money were huge and to be reinvested in the team. Fat chance.
  11. JFK should get credit for this
  12. Sponsorship just an excuse for him to use to leave the club. Can't blame him, having to work with Pardew for another day.
  13. For a few that hasn't read about it. I know his character has no bearing on how good of a manager he is. But interesting read and reminder. oh yeah maybe it's all made up. http://twishort.com/LuAbc
  14. I don't see the likes of Poyet hanging around waiting to see if Pardew walks or not. If Ashley has someone lined up other than Kinnear he must have given them assurances that if Pardew doesn't walk, he'll be shoved at some point before the season starts. Is that likely? Less and less in my view. Like I said it could be somebody else, we never expected Pardew after Hughton.
  15. I think that comes down to the manager at the end of the day. We can blame the players to a certain point, but when the manager himself is publicly yearning for jumpers, tacklers and signings like Andy Carroll it's a clue to where his philosophy is firmly rooted. No doubt he is looking to change it on the surface, the question is, does he have any idea how to do it? And does he have any genuine intentions of changing it even? He always talked a good game but the performances on the pitch always contradicted his salesman speeches. I think he's tried to move to a passing game, you can see that the players were attempting to retain possession at times last season. But without forward movement from the players, passing becomes difficult, and Pardew is reluctant to encourage forward movement as we all know so we end up with a confused and frustrated team. We did play less hoof ball in the last third of the season, but still essentially defensive/counter attacking football. Thus like you said limited movement.
  16. A lot of people are 100 percent sure on JFK taking over if Pardew gets the boot or he walks. I can understand that given Ashley's record, but I have a feeling its not that simple. I'm in the camp that believes he will employ another manager be it Poyet or somebody else. Not JFK.
  17. Douglas is not fast, more of your traditional centrebacks, big and strong.

  19. He's playing a very clever game, he's getting some sympathy from the media and fans because of JFK. At the same time you know he's smiling inside.
  20. that is true them managers do exist, but to have a manager that don't even know the problems and then a manager that can identify the problems but hasn't got the feintest idea or the capacity to solve them.... What's the difference? Both shyte and don't deserve a place in our dugout.
  21. The thing is he himself knows what the problem is, but real sad thing is he also know he does not have the skills the capacity or the ability to rectify them problems. Hence all the bullshitting salesman talk, excuses and shower that he comes out with every pre and post game interviews. Because any Tom Dick and Harry can easily point his finger and say "we need to do this and that, that bit is missing and this etc etc.." but to actually have the capability to change and rectify those things are a complete different matter altogether, And that is really what separates a good manager from a shyte one. Sadly pardew falls in the later category.
  22. That's his bloody fault. Why didn't he change it last season, he had plenty of time to. Stating the bloody obvious he is. He telling us what we want to hear, what he says is never what you see, just like that ESPN interview Stewart Robson gave about him, Robson was spot on. Exactly, he is doing now like he has always done, oil us up with his PR salesman talk, lets be fair to the man he is pretty good at this! Very convincing, knows exactly what the fan base want to hear... even I almost fell for it. Damn. Problem for him now is we've seen it up close and figured him out. His bullshit wont wash anymore. Sad thing is he will continue to pull the wool over some, especially the media.

Damn. that is how he managed to get the job in the first place, but judging by the second coming of JFK, it really doesnt take much to convince Mikey boy lol. When Pardew came approaching Ashley inside the casino, Ashley never stood a chance man! hahahaha
