  1. No chance he'd cone if he wasn't given control of transfers imo. Aye but the skeptism still can't be escaped until i see it confirmed.
  2. My apathy still isn't completely gone, it will be if i see that he's got complete control and he's backed in the summer though.
  3. If we beat the mackems then i'm certain we'll stay up, emotionally they'll be in the shitter and we'll do enough between that and the end of the season to break away IMO.
  4. Yup, at least we are trying to show some ambition finally. Hopefully that ambition will be fully realized and he'll be backed and given control to build up the club how he see's fit. I'm still very skeptical on those things personally but even if not he's still better than anything we have had since Sir Bobby.
  5. Damn Always did like Winter.

  7. 4m a year? Ok this can't be real.
  8. Wouldn't be the first attacking player LVG has binned off in his career and that player has gone on to have success.
  9. In fairness, it's not really the same. He does deserve respect for it but that CL success came a long time ago and he's had mixed results since then. Not like he's come off winning a league title like Mourinho ( i know they were s**** this year but they won the league the year before) or Guardiola have. If he had i doubt he'd be taking this job on, still shocked that he is mind. While I can see where you're coming from, I don't think his quality was ever in doubt though. With the exception of Inter (who were f***ing s**** when he took over), he has a great win percentage at each club. He was sacked when he was 2 points behind Barca at Madrid. He came third and won the Europa League with Chelsea despite shitty abuse from the shittiest fans in the country. At Napoli he won the Coppa Italia and qualified for the CL. I hated him at Liverpool like. Rivarly and all that. Aye i agree, just that Guardiola and Mourinho might look at it differently like he has if their success begins to stop. Obviously they never will as their get the best jobs money can buy regardless. So to me it's not really a fair comparison, he's still severely dropping down mind.

  12. Yep, and immediately, not in the summer.
  13. Before yesterday I wouldn't have said we could realistically get Benitez. Yep
  14. It's Man City, write it off. Is it? forget i said anything then.
  15. In fairness it isn't too late with the right bloke in charge, we have a game in hand and win that we are out of the relegation zone. It is an awful situation but it isn't one which is unsavable.
  16. 3 season contract. No way if we get relegated like. It's probably based on the idea we stay up tbf.
  17. I'm starting to expect this shit now , it better fucking happen.
  18. They hated him because they expected to win, ( well Chelsea fans hated him because they are bellends) we on the other hand are not afforded such luxuries and haven't been since Ashley took over so i don't think it's fair to compare.
