What I don't quite get is who went to the papers etc saying 'a deal is nearly agreed'. Not agreed, but 'nearly'. Pretty clear it must have been intended to help the team yesterday, not that it worked. Then the denials again today Getting pretty bored of the whole thing at the minute.

I trace this run being down to the Bournemouth game mainly and that decision as the moment everything went to shit pretty much.

End of the day we could easily have been 2 up at halftime, must be pretty deflating for the players as well as the fans to go behind in that way. Similar to the Bournemouth game in that we could easily have gone in a couple of goals up at half time. Thin margins really but win those and things would be completely different. We just seem cursed lately. Add that to our lack of quality and this is what can happen.

I don't think the players are good enough to deal with learning a new system to be honest, whilst playing against better teams too, and could see us getting absolutely hammered if we do. The main issue is the squad isn't up to scratch sadly.
