I wish Pardew would grow some balls. Theres no way we'd be so worried about them that HBA would be on the bench under KK or SBR. No fucking way.
-
This, we need to give them something to worry about.
-
Ben Arfa didn't take the ball out of play, it just looked like that because MOST of the ball had crossed MOST of the line. The only thing they can be pissed off with IMO is the handball, and by then they were down to 10 and were gonna get over-run anyway. So they should be pissed off with the stupidity of their players and manager really, but this is Stoke we're talking about here. Fuck em.

Really up for this game now, the run we've been on makes this almost a free game, just hope we go out and give a good account of ourselves. We're capable of beating them.

I would probably agree with that. Also to be taken into account is the low net spend he's achieved it with, which makes it even more impressive - KK and SBR were both well backed financially, and didn't have to compete against ridiculous billionaire's toys like Chelsea and Man City either. Kind of agree, however I think it's wrong to say "the low net spend he's achieved it with" as clearly Pardew has next to nothing to do with who we buy or for what price. What he does have is a very good squad of players that he has to try to get the best out of. Imagine Ben Arfa playing under KK or SBR man... one things for sure he wouldn't be warming the bench.

To be fair most of the time a linesman will give that as over the line, but from the angles shown it looks a good decision. No way can anyone say for sure that the whole of the ball crossed the whole of the line. Apart from Robbie fucking Savage. Match of the Day really is so fucking shit, the 'expert' pundits just resort to shit quips and stereotypes and opinions on games they haven't even fucking watched, or incidents where the videos show something else entirely.

No offence but some people here are talking pure bollocks like. He set up the first goal, set up the third, won a penalty and hit the post twice in 90 minutes. If theres any problem, it's how we (read Pardew) are using, or not using him.

Was absolutely immense from start to finish today.

He's been brilliant so far today.

I'm a bit drunk but still I've just been thinking, how many players in world football could come off the bench and then with there first touch of the ball from out wide cause so much havoc in the box and even when falling set up a great chance? Granted Messi balah blah, but I'm talking about a player that I/we get the pleasure of seeing in our colours. Thats not to mention the other 10 minutes of brilliance. It looks to me as if we have been trying to bulk him up ala Ronaldo / Bale. The thing is we need to actually play him. How anyone can have watched those 10/15 minutes and not seen that he's fired up and ready to be given a full game is beyond me. I want us to find a place for Ben Arfa in our team, and to build a team around him if needs be, I just don't like having our most exciting player sat on the bench, especially when he's seemingly fit and hungry and on form. I just want Pardew to think more along these lines. Really hope he starts against Stoke.

Just seen his record since joining us is 14 goals in 74 games. Nearly 1 in 5. That's a pretty good return for a midfielder.

Did that mad geezer just get Cabayes shirt??
-
Ben Arfa makes football beautiful.
-
Get the fuck in!!! Has to be starting ffs!!
-
Fucking love Ben Arfa man.
-
Not good enough to start ffs. Fuck you Pardew you cunt!
-
Hahaha get the fuck in!

Todays a perfect example of why we don't need Tiote against the lesser teams.
-
Sissoko looked like a 'proper' right winger there.

It's certainly not better than what Pardew has now and whether that team should have won the championship or not, it did, he did and we did it in style towards the end. The team that was relegated also should have stayed up, but it didn't. It's not as simple as saying something should happen regardless of what does or doesn't happen. It's not like it's one game and you can say that the result proves a point definitively. He proved it game after game, week after week and not only restored a lot of faith in our team, but he also got a lot of us just enjoying football and enjoying winning again. The season that we came up, we were a mid-table team that would win some and lose some, but there was at least some batterings that we handed out along the way and a lot of enjoyment to get from our football. He goes down as a very important person in our history for me and regardless of what you think his worth as anything is, his actual, tangeable contribution both on the field and off it was tremendously important to me. Me too. Seems easily forgotten what a shambles the whole club was in when we went down too, to downplay his achievement always sticks in my throat, he did a fucking excellent job. His achievements are only being downplayed in a desperate attempt by some to try to make Pardew look good. When Hughton took over we were for sale, in a complete shambles on and off the pitch and if I remember right he wasn't even being paid (certainly not as manager) when he took over and helped massively in ensuring we were in a position to come straight back up. For that he earned my full respect and in my opinion was then sacked because he wouldn't tow Ashley's party line. Pardew might be a better option than Kinnear, but a club like Newcastle should be looking for a better option than both.

Lets be honest, only a racist cunt would want that sort of attention. And in a way I'm glad social media makes it so easy for people like that to out themselves...I'd say they may be getting a knock on the door pretty soon.
-
I'll admit I didn't think he'd ever adapt to the league! Love him now though, proper quality right back. Such a fighter you'd think he was English ffs.
-
Definitely did enough to force a start next game. We went from being solid to being dangerous once he came on today.
