Ipswich don't want to be leaving themselves short at the back here as they push for a winner. A point would mean they could still lose to Southampton and it to be in their hands, but not so much if they lose.

I was in the camp of we can afford one poor season, hopefully refresh over the summer and go again next season. I still wouldn't necessarily want him sacked / to leave in the summer, but the last few weeks instead of being 'wow, after all he's done for the club, I can't believe they would just get rid, that's ridiculous', I'd be more like I can see why they have done that if he was to go, especially when it seems a decent proportion of the fan base would be open to change. I am less and less confident that he can turn it around, so by that, it probably would be better to be more ruthless than to delay what is starting to look the inevitable, but I still wouldn't say that I was 'Eddie Howe out!'. Very interesting summer ahead with a lot of big decisions to be made.

I'm starting to want these Brighton, Bmouth, Everton, Brentford types to win now, whereas a week or 2 I would have wanted them to lose, but we will be 11th-15th regardless, so would rather those won to ensure Sunderland finish as low as possible. Imagine us finishing 15th and them 6th after being ahead of them at the derby

Already relegated Braintree equalised against Rochdale in injury time, but Rochdale score a 90+9 winner with the last kick of the game to take it to the final day, where they are at home to York. Rochdale need to win, York can draw. I hope York do it, but Rochdale always seem to get late late goals, to be fair to them. York would have won the title without that last gasp strike.

Our season is effectively over, my main interest is Spurs going down. We're very unlikely to finish above Sunderland, and it doesn't really matter anyway when the season has been so poor, so, with Leeds looking pretty safe now, I can't say I'd be too fussed if we were to lose to both Forest and West Ham in our remaining games. Would be awful if us beating West Ham to limp to 13th was the main catalyst in Spurs staying up.

@Paully I know there's been some work done, but if Hebburn do win the league next Saturday, will they definitely be playing National North football next season?

Consett were absolutely honking today, Ossett move ahead of Blyth T and Bishops and survival is in their hands, but a tough final match for Ossett, so still all to play for at the bottom next week.

Might look to go to Hebburn vs Rushall next Saturday. A win and they will almost certainly win the league, baring a huge Hednesford win. Dunston secured a playoff spot in the league below and if they win at home next Saturday it will be a home semi final. Love this stage of the season.

I'll be hoping for a Consett win, but I'm pretty sure Ossett won't get relegated tomorrow due to who Bishops and Blyth T are playing - I'd say there would be more chance they are out of the relegation zone come 5pm as they have the easiest match on paper of the 3 main teams involved.

It's especially good if you are going to a new ground like I was last week for Heaton and Bishop Auckland (and tomorrow for Consett) to get a bit of a feel for the place.
