That would be pretty disappointing. Obviously great generally for a women's match, but they were getting 24-28k when a league lower, not professional, and not as integrated within the wider clubs social media and marketing campaigns. I'll be going with 3 others, and my first time watching them live, so I can't remember, but were the tickets cheaper than £5 for the previous matches? It's also about 10 months since the last competitive match there, so it's not like they were trying to squeeze matches in and it becomes less of a novelty.

MUCH prefer no away goals rule if watching a tie as a neutral and don't mind who wins. If a stronger team wins 1-0 at home, then scores early over there, the contest will feel over just as the second match begins, and I also like the prospect of pens, whereas it's much harder to get 2 identical results to force ET if the rule was still present. Best change they've done IMO.

Without wanting to come across all Mackematics, does anyone have any idea of how many tickets have currently been sold?

Some good results in the Championship. Both WBA and Hull winning away, the latter against Southampton, so Sunderland are now 7 points off the playoffs. Not massively likely they would have got into the playoffs with them seemingly not looking to appoint a permanent manager until the summer, but I'd still rather they be 3 games away from thee playoffs than within 3 points and one match. Ipswich got a 95th minute winner to go level on points with Leeds. Poor night for the Saints.

They've just amended it now.

I see that Full Time FA site have got us down as a 1-2 defeat today . I was thinking the gap at the top looked short with Forest having a game in hand.
-
It is the League Cup final next Sunday, but can't say I'm looking forward to Wolves vs Sheff Utd in the other televised match.
-
It would be on the assumption that Forest won every game though. If we lost 1-0, 1-0 they would just have to win their 3 games in hand 4-0, 4-0, 4-0 and they would already be above us, with both having 5 games left, not as big a margin as you would think. In the PL it would seem too big a margin to make up, but not so much here when crazy results are more common. Stourbridge have already lost 0-8 to Wolves, 1-7 to Derby, 0-7 to Forest this season. Just takes us to beat them 3-0, which would still be a decent result, and then Forest beat them 8 or 9-0 and then that gap has shortened a fair bit. We could of course beat them 7 or 8 ourselves, but GD is less clear cut when there is a massive gap between some of the sides. Mind, we'll odds on favourites to win all our remaining games individually, and much less margin for error for Forest, so you'd like to think it wouldn't need come down to GD anyway.

What an awful Super Sunday this is shaping up to be, not just from our perspective, but just from a neutral perspective of wanting to watch competitive games.
-
I think we will win it comfortably too, but I don't think we can rely on GD with Forest. If we were to lose twice then at least 2 would come off our GD, and they still have to play Huddersfield twice (-26) and Stourbridge (-24) once, we have to play them both once as well, but you can get 10/11-0 wins in this league, so the GD gap to Forest is too short to rely on that IMO, however I think the current GD gap to Burnley is enough to be confident of pipping Burnley if we were to draw and lose in the remaining games. I remember last season on the final day, we had won like 2-0 or something and Durham Cestria were racking the goals up, and won 7-0 but just fell short by 2 or 3.

Yeah, 7 games to go, 3 against fodder, and can now also afford to lose one and draw one of those matches and still win the league. Fantastic position.
-
2-1 win. More nervy than it should have been towards the end, but job done, and another game out of the way in terms of others trying to catch up. Forest still 1-1 after 85 mins, but they have just missed a pen.
-
You never know how much injury time there will be. Could be like 2 or could go on for 6 or 7 mins.
-
Derby should have equalised there. Glorious chance. Still 2-1
-
Christ. Penalty to Derby.
-
Missing a fair few chances this second half. I can't really see Derby getting back into it, but should have been put to bed by now.

The post was more in response to 'we're 7th' and the painting that we're in a decent position generally, whereas I was pointing out that we'll soon very likely be far lower than that, and in what would be considered a poor position, and yeah, injuries or not, I'd still expect more than 2 points from Bournemouth, Forest, Luton at home in recent weeks. The season has kind of felt like a write off to me for a couple of months now, and I'm not that bothered when we're dropping points as it doesn't really feel like there's much jeopardy to the matches, (not apathy of the Ashley era, just more of a get this season out of the way and regroup), but if we were to finish 10/11/12 (and not make the FA Cup final / semi final) then it will absolutely be a poor and disappointing season, regardless of unfortunate circumstances.

Liverpool Feds leading Forest 1-0. If Newcastle win and Forest don't, then that will surely be the league sewn up, but obviously a long way to go in both matches.
-
Olivia Watt off injured and replaced by Tyler Dodds, so a defender for a midfielder. Stobbs is out today, and still no Bedeau. They did bring a defender in from Palace, but it feels like they should have brought in another defender, rather than 3 strikers.

Sunderland score in the 95th and 96th minute to lead Lewes 4-3 to temporarily go top of the 2nd tier. No real animosity, but would be pretty cool to have a couple of derbies in the league next season, and would also be nice if NUFC were the premier club in the region, so hoping they don't win their league.
-
Not happy that Sheff Utd have got back to back 'Super Sunday' matches. I usually have the 2pm game on the TV and NUFC women's matches on the laptop (when they are streamed), but will probably watch the women on YouTube on the telly today.

That was brilliant. I do always watch his videos when they lose, or get (what would be considered) a poor draw, so was watching last night and just burst out laughing at this part. Comedy gold. I do quite like him. He's harmless and is obviously passionate about his club.
