Nufc.com think we're doing a different "strong" 11 for each half. You'd think he'd have a decent chance of playing if that's true.

Thauvin doesn't seem likely now but someone like him should be targeted
-
Well that was fun

I like how the article is about signing some kid and they just drop it in all casual about Wijnaldum
This.
Newcastle close on Ivan Toney transfer as Steve McClaren eyes young talent
The 19-year-old striker will cost the St James' Park club around £300,000
Newcastle United are closing on a deal for Northampton Town teen Ivan Toney.
The 19-year-old striker has caught the eye of Premier League and Championship clubs with his performances for the League Two side and was close to joining Wolves last year.
But the Magpies have now swooped for the promising forward, and he is expected to become Steve McClaren's first signing as Newcastle boss if the £300,000 deal can be confirmed before the arrival of Georginio Wijnaldum.
Toney made his Football League debut aged 16 back in 2012, becoming Northampton's youngest-ever player.
He has three goals in 16 first-team appearances for the Cobblers.

Good thing we took our time

Christ, put an owld coat on Mclaren, he'd pass immediately for a hobo
He looks like he's been down a pit. Have they struck coal in the bore hole?
(sorry dunno how to resize the image)
Good to see Ser Davos getting a new job
Was just going to post that

He wasn't anything special but he still was way above playing in the MLS or Belgium

France #14
She's really good too
-
Hope not.
-
What is he thinking
-
28 today. Kinda depressing that he's getting owld.
Now we're definitely not going to sign him
-
Well, the cheap, fallback option is actually a better player than the first two options. I'm not actually sure we'd be able to sign him; I wouldn't give that much credence to the "modest fee" put there.
If that's true then fair enough, I don't know too much about him (but 15 goals isn't bad). I just saw the cost and where he plays and figured it was the 'Rivière' option. Personally I'd like some more South American players in the squad.
-
Ahhh the cheap fallback option
-
France-Germany is going to be good.
Should be at least a semi-final. Especially when the other half (England's half) of the bracket is a disgrace.
-
I don't really like this US team, it's not as fun being favorites. It's like rooting for USA Basketball. Plus they robbed Sweden of a win with that handball
-
US get lucky again. China next up for them while all the other good teams eliminate each other.
-
hahahah
-
What a joke
-
This will drag on for a while and eventually he will end up at Spurs.
-
Everyone was making fun of this tournament until England started winning
-
Never in doubt. Do we get a proper country in the next round?
-
Time wasting motherfuckers.
This. Norway is so much more talented.. and easier on the eyes
-
Totally undeserving scoreline

I'm more excited about this signing than anyone else we've bought since Yanga-Mbiwa.
