It would be a laugh if we failed to qualify. I'm glad I'm at work and missing the match to be honest. It's been great so far. I lost interest in England years ago. All the big names who never put a shift in with the wrong manager in charge. They are just taking the p*ss out of England fans now with Fat Sam. I invest so much into Newcastle, both in terms of money and emotionally. Newcastle is pretty much the only team I care about, sure theirs 1 or two that I look out for score wise but Newcastle is the only team who I live for. The dissapointing thing is that I'd rather the teams who I look out for score wise do better than England. I'd honestly say that I would rather see Toronto FC win the MLS than England win the World Cup. When the debate of club vs country comes up I'd probably prefer Newcastle to win meaningless friendly than see England do well. Today I even forgot that England were playing such is the f*** that I give about them. This is the biggest load of crap I've ever read, what sort of man would want fc Toronto or any MLS team to do better than his own nation. No matter how disillusioned you are. Moron. I don't support them but I would rather Toronto FC win the MLS than England win the World Cup. Most people who care about England games are f***ing idiots. How are you an idiot for wanting your country to win. It's like saying you're an idiot for supporting Newcastle, both been equally as disappointing and as badly run for years with only slight periods of hope. Strange mentality. This very same nonsense goes on in here. People actually suggest that you're not such a devoted fan for your club if you care for the national team. To be honest I'm quite disappointed with Portugal since failing to grab a medal at the Olympics.

Congratulations, man. Really gutted that Portugal couldn't even nail a freakin' bronze medal yet in our history. But, really, FIFA/IOC really have to straight their s*** up about the format of this competition. Pretty sure football is going to remain an Olympic competition for a looong time. I mean, at least while it is profitable.

Newcastle United is playing almost everyday! Championship and internal cups is a great combo. Just imagine. A Championship title plus a Cup (League or FA). It would be awesome!

Yes, thank you Jo. Though now I'm jealous of long Portuguese weekends so I'm off to listen to some Fado and depress myself again Long portuguese weekends? Only 2 days. About Fado, I could use some too. I got really happy with our EURO win, but now I'm depressing like hell since we couldn't get an Olympic medal in football. Win first major international trophy and then depressed about Olympics... It's a good job you're not an England/Newcastle fan you may not have made it through the Summer! NUFC will do fine. Easy promotion and maybe a word to be said in the FA Cup.
