I didn't suggest they were all those things. I meant keeping their integrity on their current stance on this specific matter.

The choice that UEFA + The National Associations have to do is: will they concede to the clubs' demands at the cost of basically losing their power over the game, opening the door for future similar endeavors, destroying the game as we know it; or taking the hit that will come on short term, at the cost of saving the game as we know it, keeping their integrity, and possibly even better making those competitions even more interesting now that the balloon-like teams filled with foreign money are out?

Cabine Desportiva @CabineSport · 32 min Atalanta, Cagliari e Hellas Verona pedem a exclusão da Série A do Milan, Inter e Juventus, que concordaram em juntar-se à SuperLiga, informa "La Repubblica." ** Translating: Those 3 teams are asking that Milan, Inter and Juve are expelled from Serie A, says "La Repubblica".

Isn't that more or less what the "International Champions League" that happens in the pre-season is about?

You mean that the UCL will be left with none of those clubs that have their asses filled with Arab money? Oh... How sad.

One major analysis mistake I think these guys owners are making is thinking they are bigger than the game itself. Yes we all know Real Madrid and Man Utd have a huge history, but nowadays I'd be trilled to see Benfica x NUFC in a UCL match. They (some of them) have a huge history yes, but they can disappear from existence for all I care. Specially being the artificial product they are nowadays.

There is no turning back now. These clubs have shown their faces. No fan can now say he does not understand what "modern football" means. I am just hoping this will also result in a massive implosion, and hopefuly something genuine can grow again from football's traditional roots.

This means that classic clubs that are not sold to Arab money will get a chance to compete in Europe again? Benfica, NUFC, Ajax, Napoli, etc? Awesome!

Ronaldo scores. 50': LUX 1-2 POR Your dream lives on.

HT: LUX 1-1 POR

In all fairness this LUX team is not the punching bad it was anymore. They are very well organized.

The EURO win was a blessing and a curse at the same time. Santos does not have capable hands for such a brilliant set of players, but no one will fire him. His strategy is defending and praying.

Luxembourg 1-0 Portugal, 30'

They didn't show much talent tbh. Easy win for us. Was kind of surprised with England.
-
We are being superior in every aspect of this game really.

Portugal U21 x England U21 tonight. Interesting one.
-
A disaster, really. At this point we just hope to finish in a UCL spot.
-
My bad luck then. Last time I was around here you lads were also grilling this guy called Pardew or whatever was his name.
-
Feels nice to observe that this forum still goes strong at grilling every single NUFC head coach.
