I know the whole narrative with Sissoko and Wijnaldum is that they are "cowards" or "go missing" and that they both "couldn't give a s***" but I really want to keep both of them. I know there will be a huge question mark over their application and willingness to continue playing for us but if there is one man who can sort this its Rafa. Plus they will both be disgusting in the championship, Barton was one of the best players down there last season FFS.

Didn't we quote Everton £25 million? He's on a long contract seemingly without a release clause, Rafa has already said we don't need to sell so I can see us asking for a figure in that range or higher.

Really positive that the balls are out already in training and they are working on how Rafa wants them to play on day 2 of pre-season. Non of this weeks of running and just fitness work. Hoping for a really good pre season for once and not the cluster f*** it has been for years now
