  1. France breezing through the first 45mins against Scotland too.
  2. Don't mind him, i felt he got a treated bad when in England before. When you look at tossers like Pardew/Hippo head/Pulis and their stinking football, they get constant praise. f***ing baffles me no end. Agree with you on this. The press love a english dinosaur of a manager though so its not even a shock these days.
  3. AVB now odds on favourite for Southampton job.
  4. He signed a new long term deal for 80k p/w during the season. Im sure that'll be more than enough to sort him out for life. Not to mention all his off the pitch contracts too.
  5. The diving and swanning around might be a good fit for Arsenal, but he can only ever run in straight lines and shoot, and Arsenal aren't exactly the most direct team. They might be if they had a striker who could run They've played Walcott up top and not a thing changed. Bit of a difference between Walcott and Vardy, like. Its the same when Welbeck plays up top. Point im making is that its all well and good bringing in players with pace and pressurising defenders but Arsenal's attacking play isn't really based around that style imo. I may be proven wrong and Wenger may change his ways but its not a great deal from either side for me.
  6. Vardy having his medical tomorrow.
  7. They started it an hour after his appointment.

  9. Higuain is a world-class striker. Vardy is not. I was replying to whoever it was that said they could just spend that money on Higuain I didn't say get him for the same amount. I meant if they had any real ambition then they'd go and spend 40m+ or whatever it would take for Higuain who could win them the league rather than 22m on Vardy who wont.
  10. By going for the easy option and signing a striker who's had one good season and style of play doesn't fit in with Arsenal's at all? He won't even be in the team by January if he does join, unless Wenger does his usual trick and sticks him on the wing. Not to mention that he won't take them onto the next level and they could easily go out and spend the money on a world class striker like Higuain for starters.
  11. It amazes me that some Arsenal fans are backing the move.
  12. Don't know whats more humiliating out of the pic, comment or the twitter @ username. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160604/0cf313adbeebf94eba8a0e9a15f761d4.jpg
  13. Shouldn't go anywhere near that. Obviously its not my money but anything over £8m is daylight robbery.
  14. No way they'll get Moyes imo - either of the other two very believable. Aye Moyes doesn't fit into their structure imo.
  15. De Boer the current favourite to take over at Southampton. Howe and Moyes in 2nd & 3rd place.
  16. 10quid on England, Germany, Spain, France, Portugal to win their groups returned just under 100 last night on Bet365. Only England appeared dodgy to me.
  17. Rangers, Celtic, Brighton and Hull all offering him contracts apparently.
  18. If you're crap, you dont play for the clubs he has. Fact.
  19. He wont fit into Arsenal's passing game. His game is built all around pace and counter attacking football. To spunk 20/22m on a soon to be 30 year old who I highly doubt would take them onto the next level & may not even get into the team doesn't make much sense to me when they've got a bottomless pit of money. As for Vardy, it depends on what he cares about more out of game time and ££. Not to mention that if he does go there, he'll no doubt be played as a winger where he's completely ineffective. He score's goals, he'll press the opposite defenders more than Giroud does, and if they really do have infinite funds, then why not? I'm sure Wenger will focus more on counter football if Vardy arrives, he's not daft. If they do have infinite amounts of cash then surely they can do a whole lot better than Jamie Vardy if we're agreeing on his main attributes being pace and pressurising defenders? Granted he's had a good season but is he really the striker they need to push them onto the next level? I don't think so. I disagree on the point made about believing Wenger would play more counter attacking if they signed him as the style of play didn't change when Theo got a run of games up top.
