I asked him was he still confident and got a ?? back
-
?
-
The man likes to use emojis.
-
Have actually had a little back and forth with him. He didn’t exactly spill the beans but I’m far more confident now. That’s all I’m saying!
-
I agree, it is a cuntish thing to do. I sent him the link to the article that has his number listed and suggested getting it taken down or edited before he starts getting hundreds of messages off crazier people than me.
-
He said “thanks for your message, we’re doing all we can. Best of luck to you as well, you guys are great fans”
-
He messaged me back! ?
-
I messaged Midhat ? it ended up being a rant.
-
Yeah that’s fairly to the point I guess. Sure I’ll give it a shot. The c*** will give me the seen no doubt. Has your source at the lawyer company said anything more just out of interest? I haven’t asked to be honest. Was being a bit cheeky asking about it as it was. Plus was on holidays so I’ve only been checking in on the progress of this about 50 times a day.. ? They use an internal bulletin system for any large deals they negotiate. I’m hoping he’ll message me when he sees something.

Yeah he said something about celebrating on Saturday night but was obviously referring to Liverpool.
-
Do you also post on NUFCBLOG.com? your not DubaiMicky are you? Nope. Not me.

That’s the thing. He seems like a fairly sound London bloke.. he may as well be Alan Sugar when you hear him speak. His number is readily available online btw in one of the articles relating to BZG investing in India.
-
I have Midhat Kidwai’s mobile number. I’ve been tempted to send him a WhatsApp message but what on earth would you say to the man or how wound you phrase it without pissing him off royally? He’s online with his WhatsApp every 20 mins or so ?
-
Many conflicting reports about BZG which has cast doubt into their credentials. I see many reports of them signing MOU’s for billions. One of note was in India. They like to have their fingers in lots of different pies it would seem. Infrastructure, construction, telecoms etc. I can’t see them buying this club without a plan to drive it forward. But there is no way they wound be spending big money with a top firm like Pinsent Masons if they were tyre kickers. Every one of us wakes up each day now hoping for news but it could take weeks. I’d like to see Rafas situation get sorted first.

No. It's the greatest wind up since beadle was about
-
Thread title. And also 6 or 7 of Ashley’s registered companies connected with the club have been dissolved.
-
Aye, everyone worrying, please don’t. It’ll happen. It’s just a matter of sorting through the mess of Ashley’s holding companies. Especially the ones he’s not a director of. Lee Charnley is Director of 30 of them. 4 of those have been dissolved in the last few days. That’s not counting the 2 or 3 of Mike Ashley’s that Charnley isn’t a director of as well. Project Newco 40 etc.. So I think that’s actually 6 or 7 companies dissolved in the last few days as opposed to the 4 that have been reported.

In fairness at that point in time we could compete for most players signatures. It’s crazy to think we could have had Zidane for a couple of million. Keegan had everything lined up but the chairman said he’d never heard of him.. I suppose this club has always had some sort of fuckwit at the helm. Imagine if these new lads actually have some business sense and vision. Well actually they don’t need to, they just need to be smart enough to give Rafa everything he wants and let him at his job.

Yes. If you have kids it’s the best time as mid term break and also it’s hot but not ridiculously warm. 28 degrees in Lake Garda today ?
-
I’m not so sure. He’s been on holidays for extended periods over the last few years. This year has not been a good one for him with either SD, HoF or Debenhams. If he cash out with close to a billion, why is it far fetched to think he might be done?
-
Actually, that's made me think; how would the new owners feel about a gambling sponsor? Fun88 will be gone fairly sharply. A business with close ties to BZG will be chosen and that’s how they’ll get around FFP rules for the first while.
-
It’s a positive sign. Apart from knowing it’s happening, we have no idea as to the nature of the deal. I was worried Mike Ashley would insist on SD getting advertising space in the ground and control of the merchandise. Does anyone know when our deal with Puma will run out?

When I’m recruiting I’m a shameless pimp ? I only get a few a year but 17% of what their salaries are definitely adds up quickly. It involves a lot of manipulation as most of these people are generally more than happy in their work at that level and hadn’t considered leaving at all until I make contact.
-
As far goes Pinsent yes, I moonlight as a recruiter for high level positions. Legal is one of the areas I dabble in along with Localization and Digital. I’ve pinched a few for them (Pinsent Masons) in the last 2 years. Especially when they were setting up a new Dublin office. I didn’t post all day yesterday as am on holidays in Italy right now but when I saw all the news yesterday evening I reached out to my guy and he was aware of it so I didn’t need to fish too much for the info. The takeover is a formality at this stage I’ve been told. Pinsent have a big team working on this, I assume Ashley does too with his lawyers so it’ll get trashed out in due course. The main thing now is for BZG to move funds into a holding account controlled by the law firm. He doesn’t know for sure as he’s not working directly on this but he says deals of this size are usually done in instalments over the course of a few weeks and if the club has been broken up into smaller pieces like it has, each transaction will be a tranch of parts of the club, until it’s all transferred over in full.
