If we finish 10th again for example Rafa will stay but the squad will be weakened again so we just repeat this season until one of them leave. I went all over in both championship seasons as I foolishly thought there was hope and I would go home and away in league 2 if we had a normal owner. Definitely this. What will take some of the heat out the protests though is a few decent results. Our new breed of fan is fickle and easily placated. That's what worries me the most

Tedious is deliberating over results that mean f all until Ashley goes. If it takes a few more defeats to get more pressure on Ashley and get it toxic in the ground then that is the best thing for the club. No doubt that if we had a decent spell all the heat will be off Ashley again. Anything anti Ashley is far more important than results at this stage Finish 15th, Ashley stays on the gravy train Rafa stays and this same shit scenario replays next season too

I reckon given a decent owner Keegan probably could get us going again, although to what extent is debatable considering the game has moved on, and even he admitted he didn't have much time for the tactical side of it. But the point is I don't want to be wondering 'what if...' when Benitez leaves. I really want to see what he could do with a supportive owner as I reckon he would win a trophy given three or four years with some decent funds. I do too but getting a supportive owner isn't going to happen for him is it. I loved Benitez and chanted his name all around the country these last 2 years.
