  1. I enjoy reading HTT posts. I usually read all of all his posts
  2. Very talented player? Probably end up in league 1 in the near future. We need mid table pl quality, if they aren't that then we are wasting our time. Send them out on loan and see if they are good enough elsewhere. I'm Sick to death of us playing players who aren't good enough in cup games and throwing them year after year with said players ending up way below our level 99.9% of youth team players aren't at that mid-table PL quality; training, coaching, fitness and mental stability play a massive part in the development of players through to a first team. I'm sure Rolando hasn't had the greatest development path to this point...such a simplistic view of the situation to simply say he's not good enough right now, maybe so, but there's underlying factors and reasons for that and it has nothing to do with blooding him in cup games. He had potential to be a player for us, hasn't worked out but it's not because the quality isn't there necessarily, more it hasn't been nurtured. With us it's pretty much always the case they end up at a far lower level though. Carroll and dummett are the only ones I can think of who have came though to be pl standard. 2 players in what, 15 years? The other sub standard crocks of shit have been partly responsible for a decade of Cup surrenders Sad to see how much Ashley has lowered people's expectations of the standard we should be looking for. The era with Curtis good, bigirimana, vuckic, abeid, Adam Campbell etc was fucking tragic.
  3. Imagine playing stoke under 21s in a competitive game man . Imagine how they would be carrying on if it was us

  5. That's been obvious for ages. Another overhyped player by our fans who fades off into obscurity
  6. I do enjoy your long posts but I thought you didn't care anymore
  7. That's one of the things they need to be doing imho. The other, and I might get some flak for this, would be trying to open some dialogue with Ashley himself......get him sat down and say look, we're not going away, can you please just do the honourable thing and sell the club on. He may see it as an opportunity to gain some decent publicity and more importantly for him, save some face. If he doesn't want to know, the gloves need to come off. Honourable thing
  8. Lose lose all round really anyhow isn't it until the fat cunt fucks off if he ever does
  9. Aye he's going nowhere like. Not a chance. Called it ages ago. £50 to charity if he does. Won't make much of a difference to us either way unfortunately till Ashley goes. I predict another 2 or 3 years or this with just slightly improving the squad each season with bargain deals In the interests of not being needlessly confrontational what leads you to this conclusion? I'll admit on some level I'm tempted to agree, Rafa is not behaving like it's all over but on the other hand the ball is in his court at the end of this season and he knows it. Ashley has fucked him multiple times so all good faith has gone, only way I see him staying is cast iron guarantees from Ashley on spending and he simply won't get it. Possible 1 year extension I guess, last chance saloon style. One thing no one should forget is how much Rafa loves the job and he might be reluctant to chuck 3 years away... Yeah basically he loves it. He can't get shafted anymore than he already has been and he's still here. He won't want to throw away all the work he has done. He would be making more negative noises now if he intended on leaving. He's saying he will see about a new contract in 2019. The fact he is even debating staying for a second is fucking staggering so yeah I think he will stay on. Ashley will stay on obviously and we will just have a few years of a bargain bucket team been well organised and surviving but throwing the cups. My prediction.
  10. You say that, but don't believe it enough to put a bet on with the two people happy to bet £50 that he won't be here. So not that much. Very disappointing. Ok I will take the bet will the 2 people then but nobody else as I actually only meant just £50 but yeah £50 with both people to be paid next summer. Or I can keep it as a donation to the foundation, whatever. I was slightly on the wind up tbh, but fair play, I'll take you up on that bet. Ok fair dos. So it was you and who else? Mrmojo Ok deal between us 3. I'm a man of my word if nowt else so will settle it in May if needed and same for youse.

  13. Because I said £50. I was sure Man City would win yesterday but I didn't bet on it
  14. I believe it. £50 will be donated to charity if he somehow leaves. If not then nothing happens. Easy. There's just no way he's leaving
  15. I know I have. But as if i would bet potentially 30-40 people £50 each. I clearly meant I would put up a single £50 that he dosent leave and I stick by that. He's going nowhere like If I say to someone In a pub I bet you £50 it doesn't mean I'm betting every single person in the pub. I bet the forum not fucking dozens of people. You know what I meant but yeah £50 to charity if he miraculously leaves
  16. 66 now. One more for aubamayeng and i will break 70. I don't think anyone in the whole NO league has this weekend yet
  17. It wasn't don't be silly as if I'd bet £50 potentially dozens of times. I meant I will stake £50 on it and I will absolutely stick by and honour it in the unlikely event I need to

I predict another 2 or 3 years or this with just slightly improving the squad each season with bargain deals Quoted for posterity. No problem. I'd be astounded is he left in May and more than happy to donate £50 to the Sir Bobby Robson foundation
  19. 61. Had Hennessy Alonso mendy mane hazard aguero. Just need aubamayeng to do something to break 65. Last chance for him today I reckon
  20. Richard Dunne is a certified piss head. The rest though, got Bishops hoof prints all over it. 100% they have a narrative that these ex players & managers are more than happy to swallow. If all of these fuckers appearing on sky are or have recently been represented by KBA, should we be complaining to Sky about it? Has to be some sort of conflict of interest, or are they supposed to give a balanced view of things? Am surprised the local journos haven’t written more about this. Come on man, there always needs to be 2 sides to a discussion or else what's the point? Should Shearer be allowed to comment about us as sure he has a bias towards NUFC. Carragher got a champions league medal under Rafa - should he be banned from supporting him? Fact is, a lot of people will give Ashley a lot of credit for "helping" us to get promoted after relegation unlike clubs like Sunderland, Aston Villa etc. I'd much rather these morons were given a voice so that people like Jenas and Humphrey can make them look stupid, by using the actual facts rather than spouting shite with no substance. Anyone neutral watching surely would have been firmly swayed on to our side of the argument.... Exactly, the counter to well he funded you to get promotion is we shouldn't have been anywhere near relegation anyhow. It's only because off Ashley we have been. Like I've said it's like someone taking over Everton or Tottenham now and relegating them

  22. aye it was the same one. We had Milner and I just remember us all rushing forward to the front towards the end. Was a 1230 kick off if I remember right Yes, i was drinking Vodka straight, on the train across. I was on the same train that morning as a lad who was drinking straight vodka Had the whole carriage singing one Curly Geordie Yup, that was my mate, i was the one with him, "CURLY GIVE US A SONG" ...wow..small world...we were underage so drank it out of water bottles. That was good fun...WHAADA WE THINK OF SUNDERLANDDD. Were you one of the blokes drinking magners opposite us? "MAGNERS IRISH CIDER NANANANA." Haha na we were further down the carriage. Think the Blackburn game was the main mental one. You must be gaz? Aye I was just 17 that Man City game Yea, that's me, how do you know? Are you the lad who lost his shoe at Blackburn? I know all and aye am a, black eye an all
