Of course there should be anti Ashely chants in the ground. There should have been loads loud and clear every home game so far and it shouldn't take it to be scripted for it to happen either. In certain at most other clubs there would have been I know there should be, i was just commenting on their tweet that seems contradictory to what they said at the meeting.

Like i say, the tweet seems to be about the lack of anti ashley chants in the ground, yet at the meeting they were basically saying that for now it's best to protest outside and not in the ground, that's why i find it weird Anyway, i hope they are changing their stance on that.

If you really strongly about it, cancelling your ST is definitely the way forward.....BUT it's not an easy thing to do, I know, I've just done it myself. However, if you do this, you still need to get involved in protests against Ashley. Walking away and washing your hands of it, then criticising those who are prepared to get of their arses and do something is not acceptable.....far too many know-it-all's out there who think they've done their piece and everyone else is wrong. If you've got something to say, come to the next Magpie Group meeting and share your expert knowledge with others. I came up for the first protest especially and watched the game in a pub, and i've been doing my bit online, not that i feel i have to justify myself.

I've stopped going because it's what i felt was right, whether someone replaces me and the ground is full anyway or not is neither here nor there to me. I'm not trying to come across as a super fan btw.

I don't get this thing about waiting for someone to organise a boycott before you join in. If you feel strongly enough then just stop going, do what YOU feel is right, shouldn't need others to tell you when to boycott IMO. Not sold out again yesterday, people already are.

From my experience (multiple sprained/twisted ankles) if you can't run it off, it's at least a couple of weeks out, as it's a ligament issue. Hope i'm wrong. He will have better treatment obviously.
