Amazing that in one game a referee can influence the outcome of our entire season - going from still being in two cups and chasing Europe, to ending one cup run, sabotaging the final of another and also weakening our squad for the league run-in, all with some wank officiating. Do I blame Gordon? A little, but nowhere near as much as the ref in today's match. I know the FA think the sun shines out of his arse, but personally, I thought he was shit today.
-
My impression was that it looked worse (as in a push to the head), not because Gordon actually aimed at pushing the guy's head, but because the guy dipped just as Gordon was pushing him, which then looked more like Gordon was going for the head. I think it was a push, sure, but not deliberately aimed at the guy's head. Was daft and borne out of frustration for the previous incident not being given our way, thought the ref was shit today again, he's probably a Liverpool fan or has scouse relatives

I think I'm done for this evening, there must be something more entertaining I can be doing.
-
Ref giving LiVARpool their obligatory quota of help then - all expected, the league's winners have already been decided and the media have a wankfest over the cunts.
-
Ffs, Wilson's still on then...
-
Love Rafa, he's sounding a bit croaky though, hope he's alright
-
Yeah, yet... they have at least one every match though, scummy gypo bastards.
-
Hate midweek league matches, hate LiVARpool

I feel for Dubs, not fair that Pope's come back in really.
-
Kin hell, Bruno's having a rough one tonight. Not sure why Wilson's on instead of Osula. And why is Gordon on the right?
-
Hehe, would love to see that, perhaps by one of our lesser used players though, in case of any follow up ban
-
Waste of an evening this, just not feeling it. It'll probably just serve as a forewarning to our players of how much we'll get humped in the league cup final. (the conspiracy theorist in me is hoping it's all part of an Eddie masterplan to lull the scousers into a false sense of security by being pap tonight and not having Isak along)

Financial Fair Play / Profit & Sustainability

So, how far reaching does the compensation go? It's one thing to say there's potentially a level of fee missed out on through blocked sponsorship deals, but would it also affect something like having to have sold players of potential, at a loss, or just selling them full stop, when they could have provided better cover for an already thin squad, due to books needing to be balanced on PSR rules? Rules which potentially wouldn't have been anywhere near to being breached had we been allowed to put a higher paying sponsor in place? Or is that pushing it? -

We've been fucked over by the powers that be so many times, blocked at every opportunity, hamstrung and swindled over signings ever since the takeover, that I can't even get excited anymore without thinking there's going to be another door ready to be slammed in our faces just around the corner... -
Well, that's blown the conspiracy theory out of the water
