It could be about to get worse. Fair play this lad has been on their case from minute one.
Meanwhile on RTG : "I think I'll wait for what Grumpy Old Man says about this before making my mind up"

Amazing. Wonder what his PhD-owning son thinks of that meltdown.
He's still lecturing them.

Just seen this nugget on RTG on about Trippier.
“The abuse I received on here for saying he was a good signing for them was bizarre. One knacker even sent me a PM saying I should start following another sport because I know nowt about football.”
Honestly, they’re absolutely embarrassing some of them lot.
Have they shifted from him being a terrible signing to his injury being the nail in our relegation coffin yet?

It's obviously a big blow, but it's not to the extent where I belive it will sway one way or the other in terms of staying up.
Agree with this. Posted the same on another thread, but it's lucky the lack of faith on here isn't mirrored by the fans in the ground.

Not a fan of his, but he did ok today. Will be very disappointed if he's still here next year though.

Keeping it protected and keeping the weight off it hopefully.

Reading the match thread on the bus on the way home and there's a continual theme where some are desperate to call him out and have a pop at him for apparently getting stuff wrong, not doing whatever. Luckily those who actually go to the games are fully behind him and the players. Getting out of the shit he inherited has been a real team effort and he deserves a load of credit.

How could we possibly have killed a mackem when every hooligan tale they recant over there has a line mackem coming out on top against a horde of Newcastle fans? They seem to love talking about a recent game where they "took the Strawberry". Oddly there's nothing to suggest it ever happened.

Yeah stop posting twitter nonsense in the twitter nonsense thread.

It's like every poster has their own thread over there at the minute.

Crap header, but he played an important role in the win tonight.

Need to unlock the pre match thread so everyone can get their apologies in.

Rumours their first choice keeper has done a runner back to Germany.

Been reading their thread on Zouma this morning. Apparently anyone who has ever eaten a bacon sandwich or been to KFC is hypocritical criticising him for what he's done.

If an outfield player flies in like that he's off.

There's absolutely no way Salah wouldn't get that decision at Anfield.

What’s the point in setting a smoke bomb off in the concourse at a home game?

My son's PhD thesis was s philosophical underpinning of the need for some control (read, a degree of socialism) of large corporations to maximise liberty (using non- domination as a criterion) of the individual. 80,000 words of difficult political philosophy. I believe it's accessible via University of Bristol library.
