We would need to be in serious negotiations with another player for them to blink first. Doesn't seem the case right now so the way I see it, they will have to pay the money. If he's that good, it could be cheap in the end.

I envisage this being breaking news and all over the yellow ticker at some point in next few days that the deal is accepted.

If Sevilla are continually moving the goalposts on price, this is just a way of the club letting the player and his agents know that his club are fucking about.

If he's already requested to leave, there's no way they keep him and then lose him for less in the summer. If they are serious about a push for the title they need happy campers.

It’s not a hate campaign, it started really well for the kid when he arrived first and every one of us were happy to have him as a captain.

But the defending Mike Ashley and then just his overall performances over the last few seasons. It’s beyond repair as far as am concerned. As a player he peaked at 22 and as a captain has been like a mute the last 2 years.

Makes far too many mistakes in every match he plays now, lots of which have led to goals. Why should we treat him any differently to Ciaran Clark? (Who also did fine while he was on)

70 mins and he was blowing out his arse.. a familiar sight, but credit to him, the last 10 mins he worked his socks off.

Improved as the game went on, I’ll give him that. But that first half was shocking.

Desperately need some midfield reinforcements now, hopefully someone can come in who changes the dynamic.
