Sky News has learnt that the Premier League club plans to inform the Manchester United Foundation that it intends to curb the benefits it provides - which totalled close to £1m last year - from 2025 onwards. Sources close to the situation said a substantial element of the support given to the Foundation by the club would be axed, although Old Trafford insiders insisted on Sunday that it would still provide "significant" support to the charitable wing https://news.sky.com/story/amp/manchester-united-foundation-among-targets-of-ratcliffe-costs-purge-13281101

I know a few have already said this, but there’s something about him that makes me think he’ll lead us to trophies. its like when we stumbled upon Big Joe deeper during the Norwich game. Tonali at 6 has been gamechanger and I haven’t felt so confident about our midfield controlling games in over a decade, if not longer.

More redcafe gold, give them one thing, they’re funny fuckers : “I wouldn't mind switching Dalot and Antony around. It hardly matters. They're both terrible. It's like deciding whether to fill your car up with milk or jam. Either way you're fecked“

Former Man Utd chief scout Mick Brown has slammed Ratcliffe and INEOS as they have “been appalling”, while the takeover has been a “PR disaster”. “I’ve been staggered and amazed at the attitude of INEOS,” Brown told Football Insider. “I don’t know where they learnt their staff management skills, but they’ve been appalling. “First of all, as far as I can see, they’re agents of the Glazers and the first thing they do is make sure the Glazers and themselves get their money passed to them. Never mind the club, the club has to pay for it in some way. https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-man-united-staff-left-stunned-by-latest-appalling-ineos-decision/

Troy Deeney’s put three of our players in team of the week & Eddie as boss: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5y890v1d5po Joelinton (Newcastle): He is a beast of a man. If you remember he was actually bought as a number nine. How silly were they? He is a centre-midfielder and has been excellent in Newcastle's rise for the past four weeks. He's in the team for the first time this season. Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) and Anthony Gordon (Newcastle): Both these players were excellent and dynamic. They drove their teams forward and both scored. They were both thorns in the opposition's side and looking like the players we know they can be. Alexander Isak (Newcastle): Back again, the man, the myth, Mr Isak. He's the best striker in the Premier League currently. Arsenal, just sign him and you'll win the league, it's really not that difficult. Eddie Howe (Newcastle): He lost out on the England job and he's the only English manager that realistically had a chance of getting it. So it's good to see him doing well. We just need to see some more consistency.

The thread is a great read, they really hate their players, owners and club in general: ‘Think this is the game that turns the fans on the players. They’ve been very patient, and previous narrative has been the ownership and ETH. Players have nowhere to hide now. I suspect when that third Newcastle goal hits the net Old Trafford gets vitriol’

Like a match defining assist

Just seen Dragusin went off injured today. All four of their centre backs are currently injured, will be a good time to play them next week.
